My path into this work started with film. What drew me was people in their real moments, the hard ones, the ones that matter. In 2004 I volunteered on a suicide hotline, and I didn't want to capture those moments anymore. I wanted to help people find their way through them. That's still what I'm here for.
I'm a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with over two decades of experience across private practice, outpatient care, community mental health, and interdisciplinary teams. I've also held supervisory and leadership roles, mostly with clinicians early in their careers.
I work with adults of all backgrounds, including LGBTQ+ clients, managing anxiety, anger, overthinking, and life transitions. My approach draws on ACT, CBT, and mindfulness based practices, shaped by Taoist philosophy, Zen Buddhism, and existential psychology. I pay close attention, I don't push, and I say what I notice.
Sessions are available via telehealth, Tuesday through Saturday, across Massachusetts.
Seeing Patients in MA and NH. About me, For YOU! I'm a Board-Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner and a Board certified Family Nurse Practitioner. As a provider I like to collaborate with my patients as to their desires and the direction they want to take on their journey to wellness. I like to take a conservative approach. I believe that healing happens through genuine connection. As a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), I strive to create a safe, supportive, and judgment-free space where clients feel heard, understood, and accepted. I work with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use, life transitions, relationship challenges, and low self-esteem.
My goal is to meet you where you are. Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or simply ready for change, we’ll work together to better understand your experiences, build on your strengths, and move toward the life you want to create. I believe therapy should feel collaborative, empowering, and tailored to your unique needs.
For the past 3.5 years, I’ve had the privilege of leading a multi-site inpatient unit, supporting individuals with persistent mental illness and substance use as they work toward stability and recovery. Now, I’m stepping into private practice and writing my next chapter. I’m licensed in Florida and passionate about making care accessible and meaningful. I’d love to connect—does this sound like a fit for you?
I am a warm, friendly person who essentially likes everyone I meet. I make meaning in my life through relationships with family, friends and any person passing through. I am a lover of animals and nature. I love the ocean and have recently relocated to a beach town. I have had the pleasure of connecting with just about every client I have worked with over 28 years and I consider that a privilege and a strength.
