I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with 40 years of experience in nursing , in almost all areas of mental health. I have been a prescribing clinician for 25 years . I treat a wide variety of mental health concerns including depression, anxiety disorders, attention deficit/ hyperactivity disorders (ADHD), post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and bipolar illness. I have worked as a nurse clinician for 19 years at a major teaching hospital in Boston. I have extensive experience in both medical and psychiatric nursing, working in hospitals,, outpatient clinics, and in the community .I have also worked for 20 years as a psychotherapist. I have operated a sole proprietorship counseling practice providing holistic mind/ body therapies, nutritional and psychopharmacological treatments, as well as trauma informed psychotherapy. I've been in practice for thirty years, working with clients of all ages. I have Master's Degrees in Counseling and Religious Studies, with concentrations in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, DBT, EMDR and Expressive Therapies.

For over 30 years, I have assisted individuals navigate significant transitions and emotional struggles. Since 2007, I have been certified in hypnotherapy after completing 10 years of study in clinical hypnosis along with training in Systems Theory, psychodynamic psychotherapy, Internal Family Systems IFS), mindfulness, and spirituality without religious affiliation.

I am licensed mental health counselor based in Massachusetts. I have been working as a counselor for over 13 years. I have experience in both community based and private practice settings. My areas of expertise are in anxiety disorders, depression, insomnia and ADHD.

My education includes a master's degree in mental health counseling at the University of Massachusetts Boston. I completed my practicum and internship hours at the SAGE program at McLean Hospital and Pappas Rehabilitation Hospital for Children (formerly Massachusetts Hospital School) in Canton.
