As your therapist, I want to welcome you to our therapy space. I strive
to provide you with a safe and compassionate environment where you
can explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences without judgment.
We will focus on cultivating self-compassion, an understanding
approach towards yourself during times of struggle or difficulty.
Together, we will work towards fostering a deeper sense of self. We will
focus on key components like self-kindness, common humanity, and
mindfulness. I believe in the value of shared human experiences.
Therapeutic interventions may include and are not limited to guided
meditation, cognitive reframing, and other creative expressive
therapies. We will explore your experiences with warmth and empathy,
fostering a deeper connection to your inner wisdom and resilience.
I want to understand you as a whole person. If you are struggling with emotional regulation, setting boundaries in your relationships, or dealing with upsetting reminders of past trauma, there is hope. Together, we can work to help you create a life worth living, develop meaningful and healthy relationships, and break free from unhealthy cycles that may be keeping you stuck.
I have experience working with individuals navigating trauma, severe mental illness, and complex life challenges, with a particular focus on providing affirming care for LGBTQ+ clients, gender-diverse individuals, and those in kink and polyamorous relationships
My journey stems from my own story of resilience in the face of hardships. I became a therapist because I have always wanted to help people through some of their darkest hours. Being exposed to some dark hours myself, I know that it is difficult to do it alone. When you have someone to confide in, assist you through the hard times, and just let you know that you are not alone, makes a difference.
My therapeutic approach includes CBT, Person-Centered Therapy, Relational Therapy, DBT, Motivational Interviewing, SFT, EFT, IFS, and just speaking like a human being. I offer a compassionate, trauma-informed space where you can feel safe, seen, and supported. My approach is relational and personalized—we'll explore your story together, build coping tools, and move toward healing with curiosity, courage, and care.
Therapy with me is real, down-to-earth, and never boring. I mix honesty, humor, and heart to make the process comfortable. I help adults manage emotions, build confidence, and tackle life's challenges with tools that work. Think of it as a safe space to be yourself, grow, and maybe laugh along the way. I specialize in working with substance use, anxiety, depression, bi-polar, panic disorders, life transitions, navigating relationships and work, and co-occurring mental health concerns. We can work on root causes of mental health goals, stress management, coping skills to make your life feel more manageable. I am a LGBTQ+ ally.
I’ve spent my career providing individual and group therapy in outpatient settings, helping people navigate recovery, life stress, and feeling stuck.
I’m a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor Supervisor (LPCC-S) with a Master’s degree in counseling.
