Elizabeth Lerner received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Speech Communications and Sociology from the University of Miami in 1993 and earned her Master’s Degree in Social Work from Florida International University in 1995. She became licensed in 1998 and is a qualified supervisor for those seeking Florida licensure.

I have nearly a decade of experience working with a variety of individuals with many backgrounds. I emphasize the importance of a trauma-informed and supportive approach. I have expertise in treating a number of diagnoses, including ADHD, anxiety, bipolar disorder, depression, and trauma. I offer a number of modalities, including CBT, MI, DBT, EMDR and IFS.

Hi, I’m Natalie, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. I work with young adults and adults, as well as couples and families, who may be navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, family conflict, life transitions, or simply feeling overwhelmed by the demands of everyday life. I don't believe anyone's story is ever over. Life can leave us carrying burdens we never expected. Anxiety, depression, broken relationships, grief, trauma, addiction, or simply the weight of holding everything together can make it feel like peace is out of reach. But I believe that pain does not define you, and it does not get the final word. As a Christian counselor, it is my mission to help people find hope and strength in the middle of life's hardest moments. Healing doesn't pretend the past never happened, but it does mean that your wounds don't have to control your future. I utilize a mix of evidence based practices, which includes trauma informed care, that align with God's design to help you get as close as you can to the peace you were designed to live with.

You may understand exactly what's causing a certain feeling or response and yet it still happens. You know you're safe but your mind/body responds as though you are not. You know you are capable but something keeps getting in the way.

I work with adults, teens, and children navigating trauma, anxiety, fears and phobias, guilt, shame, fear of judgement, grief, life transitions, perinatal experiences, and performance-related stressors. I also work with people who recognize something is getting in the way of how they'd like to be and are interested in accessing and perhaps expanding their potential.

Many of the people I work with have already put a lot of thought and effort into feeling better and gaining insight. You don’t have to have it figured out before you get here. My clients tend to be curious, motivated, and open to coloring a little outside of the lines. They often appreciate an active therapeutic process focused on creating clarity and change.

Sometimes the goal is deep relief from something painful. Sometimes it’s greater confidence, freedom, or the ability to show up more fully as yourself.

I’m a Rapid Resolution Therapy Certified Specialist and a National Board Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist, with additional training in Brainspotting and other experiential and strength-based approaches.
