My area of focus is with high-achieving adults and athletes who seek self-discovery, optimal performance and skillfully practicing the art of living well. Having grown up in a high achieving environment, becoming one myself and then raising my own high achievers. I have intimate knowledge of the highs and lows and the guilt and shame that follow. I am a pilgrim in progress, a man of faith, a student of people, a mental health counselor, and an avid lover of stories. I am grateful to have a Bachelor of Science in Religion from Liberty University, and both a Master's of Divinity and a Master of Arts in Counseling from Reformed Theological Seminary. Professionally, I have worked with individuals and families from a variety of backgrounds including: grief, trauma, gender and sexuality, addiction, faith and spirituality, anxiety, depression, and behavioral disorders (ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, etc.). I have served clients across a variety of ages, children to adults both in clinical settings and also in community (professional Christian ministry) settings.

As a licensed therapist with over two decades of experience, I specialize in supporting individuals through life's complex emotional landscapes. My practice centers on empowering individuals, particularly those navigating midlife transitions, multicultural experiences, and healing from challenging personal histories.

I specialize in working with couples that want a stronger relationship, kids hurting from divorce, angry teens, frustrated parents and individuals looking to find purpose in life. Also, for those whose work schedules may interfere with their availability, I do offer evenings and weekend sessions.

At Sivana Counseling, I work with my clients across a wide range of emotional concerns including depression, anxiety, stress, trauma, and general life transitions. I strive to create a space that feels safe, respectful, and genuinely supportive for you.

I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Sociology, followed by a Master of Arts in Mental Health Counseling; both from the University of Central Florida. I am a licensed mental health counselor in the state of Florida and have been in practice for 15 years. I work with both adolescents and adults and tailor my approach to meet each client’s individual needs.
