My name is Holly Bowling and I am a Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. I started my nursing career in 2012 after graduating from Ball State University. I have had the opportunity to work in many disciplines where I was able to utilize my knowledge and skills required to provide for those with mental health issues, specifically, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, and ADHD, allowing me the opportunity to continue pursuing my career, in mental health.

I earned my degree in psychology, and a gap year with Jesuit Volunteer Corps in a social justice setting led me to social work. I use a systems approach, meaning I look at the personal, family, and life factors affecting your well-being. My background in foster care, crisis work, community-based care, and therapy gives me a collaborative, well-rounded perspective.

Much of my work centers on substance use and recovery, complex trauma, and the emotional toll of chronic medical conditions. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. Over the past 10 years I have worked as a Substance Abuse Counselor, Group Facilitator, Counseling families, Individuals, The Sheltered Homeless population, First Responders, and the geriatric population. I have also worked with children who are in the foster care system. I have experience in anxiety, depression, self-esteem, trauma/PTSD, Behavior issues, and other areas as well.

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) with over 15 years of experience providing compassionate, evidence based therapy. As a Cuban immigrant, I understand the unique challenges faced by ethnically and racially diverse clients.
