Hi! A little about me, I’ve been practicing psychotherapy for over 18 years working with kids, teens and adults, I also speak Spanish and have a master's degree in psychology. Are repetitive, worrying thoughts occupying your mind making it hard to sleep or to breathe? Maybe you're feeling lost, having to start over in a different place? Do you often feel down? Or is your child grappling with fears, nightmares, or anger? Through our work together, I believe you’ll find your answers and relief
Me especializo en el tratamiento de ansiedad, depresión, autoestima, ansiedad somática, dificultades en las relaciones, trastornos de impulsividad, divorcio, rupturas amorosas, duelo y problemas de adaptación. Therapy is more than just talking, it is about taking concrete steps toward a more fulfilling life. My work is rooted in self exploration, helping you look inward to better understand, appreciate, and connect with who you truly are. Together, we begin to uncover the patterns, emotions, and experiences that have shaped you. As you make sense of your story with support, new possibilities for growth, choice, and change can start to feel more real and within reach.

I’m a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with a background in social work and therapy, and that experience has shaped how I think about mental health care. I’ve learned that what someone is experiencing is rarely just one thing. Our relationships, environment, past experiences, biology, and daily stressors can all play a role. I became a PMHNP-BC because I wanted to bring medication management into the same thoughtful, whole-person care I had been providing throughout my career.
I specialize in mood disorders (including depression and bipolar disorder), anxiety (generalized anxiety disorder, panic disorder, and social anxiety), and trauma-related conditions including PTSD. I am deeply committed to breaking the stigma surrounding mental health — and I understand firsthand how shame and silence can stand in the way of healing and daily functioning. Outside of work, I'm a parent who enjoys going to the pool and playing board games with my children, which keeps me grounded in the everyday joys that matter most.
Personally and professionally, I pride myself on my rapport with everyone that I encounter. I have genuine and unconditional respect and patience for others. I remain objective and non-judgmental, while still developing close working relationships that are productive and challenging. I specialize in improving thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and outcomes.
I enjoy working in music production, and share music therapy exercises often. I look forward to delving into any interests that you are looking to pursue. It is very important to discover your talents and develop confidence in articulating and communicating thoughts and feelings. These can be great coping skills, recreation, or even a potential career.
