My goal is simple: to make psychiatric care feel a little more human. I’m a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with degrees from the University of Oklahoma and Wilkes University and experience in inpatient, outpatient, and correctional psychiatry . I help adults manage anxiety, depression, ADHD, PTSD, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, mood disorders and sleep concerns through thoughtful brief supportive therapy, medication management and evidence-based care that starts with listening.

I'm Dr. Ben Osevwe, a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) and board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) with more than 22 years of experience in mental health care, including over 4.5 years as a PMHNP. I founded Solid Foundation Psychiatry with one mission: to provide compassionate, evidence-based, and personalized psychiatric care that empowers individuals to live healthier, more fulfilling lives.

I work with adolescents and adults ages 12 through 90, providing comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and supportive psychotherapy. I believe that effective mental health treatment goes beyond prescribing medication. Every visit is an opportunity to listen, educate, collaborate, and develop a treatment plan that reflects your unique goals, values, and life circumstances.
