Hello, I’m Folasade, a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner with over 25 years of nursing experience and more than 12 years dedicated to psychiatric care. For the past two years, I’ve specialized in working with children, adolescents, and adults navigating a wide range of mental health challenges—from mood and anxiety disorders to complex psychiatric conditions.

I bring both professional expertise and genuine empathy to my work. Having navigated my own experiences with immigration, career changes and motherhood, I understand how destabilizing major life transitions can be. Those experiences shape how I show up for patients. I believe people do best when they feel truly seen, heard, and supported. My approach is integrative and individualized, grounded in evidence based care while also guided by curiosity, compassion, and a deep respect for each person’s unique story and capacity for growth.

My focus is on psychiatric medication management, including diagnosis and ongoing care for conditions such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, mood disorders, and related concerns. I do not provide weekly or primary psychotherapy, and may not be the best fit if you are seeking therapy-only services.
