I’m Rocio Jenkins, MSN, APN, PMHNP-BC, a board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner providing evidence-based, compassionate care to adults and adolescents across New Jersey.

I specialize in anxiety disorders, ADHD, depression, trauma-related conditions, and women’s mental health. Many of my clients come to me feeling overwhelmed, stuck, burned out, or unsure whether medication is the right next step. My role is to help you gain clarity, emotional stability, and confidence in your treatment plan.

Many people come to psychiatry after feeling frustrated by treatments that haven't worked or appointments that felt rushed. I became a psychiatric provider because I enjoy helping people understand their symptoms and find treatment approaches that genuinely fit their needs. Before becoming a PMHNP, I received a B.S. in Clinical Psychology from Tufts University and worked in psychiatric research focused on bipolar disorder and treatment-resistant depression. Today, I provide collaborative, individualized care to patients experiencing depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety, ADHD, and more.

I am a dedicated Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. I earned my Doctor of Nursing Practice and Master’s degree in Psychiatric and Mental Health from Walden University. In my practice, I am adept at addressing various mental health concerns and providing comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and personalized treatment plans. By integrating evidence-based practices, I work to promote mental wellness effectively. I offer both in-person and virtual services to ensure accessibility and convenience for those seeking support for their mental health needs.

I am a dedicated and compassionate dually certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) and Adult-Geriatric Primary Care Nurse Practitioners with a passion for improving access to mental health care through telehealth services. I focus on supporting my clients with empathy, purpose, and professionalism. I provide compassionate, evidence-based psychiatric care for adults experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, ADHD, sleep disorders, grief, postpartum mental health challenges, loneliness, life transitions, and emotional changes related to aging.

I bring over 25 years of clinical and leadership experience to my work and am the founder of The Vine Health Services. I’m a doctoral-prepared, dual-certified Nurse Practitioner in both Family and Psychiatric care, which allows me to look at your health from every angle — mind, body, and spirit.

My approach blends medical expertise with empathy, offering integrative, functional, and faith-informed care (based on patient's preference) that supports the whole person.
