am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with extensive experience providing compassionate, evidence-based psychiatric care to children, adolescents, and adults. I work with individuals experiencing ADHD, anxiety, depression, mood disorders, PTSD, substance use disorders, and other mental health concerns. I provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and supportive, skills-based psychotherapy, with treatment tailored to each patient's age, circumstances, symptoms, and goals.

My clinical background includes extensive work in outpatient psychiatry, behavioral health systems, detoxification and dual-diagnosis programs, and community-based mental health organizations. This experience has allowed me to work with individuals across the lifespan and with a wide range of needs, from patients seeking help with anxiety, depression, or ADHD to those managing trauma, substance use, or more complex mental health conditions.

I hold a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree with advanced training in psychiatric mental health. In addition to my direct clinical work, I have served as Chief Nurse Executive for a large behavioral health organization, where I oversaw integrated mental health, addiction treatment, and community-care programs. I am Dr. Obinna Ezealor, DNP, PMHNP‐BC, a psychiatric nurse practitioner with over 12 years of clinical experience across inpatient, outpatient, and long‐term psychiatric settings. My work spans general and addiction psychiatry, and I have extensive experience supporting individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds.

I am a board certified adult psychiatric nurse practitioner with 16 years of experience in medication management. My specialties include depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, OCD, sleep disorders and more. I treat patients 18 years and older and see patients in person at my quiet office suite as well as through online telehealth. Please note that I am no longer prescribing stimulant medications for ADHD (Adderall, Vyvanse, methylphenidate, etc).

Dr. Zaidi is Triple Board Certified in Psychiatry/Neurology, Child & Adolescent Psychiatry and Addiction Medicine. He has encompassed more than thirty years of extensive and diverse experience in the field of Child, Adolescent & Family Psychiatry. Dr. Zaidi was responsible for the management of a Monmouth Medical Center Children’s Crisis Intervention Service staff and operations; establishing patient services for adolescents, including day and overnight hospitalization; and supervision of multidisciplinary staff in various settings. Dr. Zaidi served as a Clinical Assistant Professor within the Department of Psychiatry at the Drexel School of Medicine. As a Site Director for Psychiatry, he provided supervision and training of medical students and pediatric residents on rotation at Monmouth Medical Center for Drexel School of Medicine and the Physicians Assistants Program from UMDNJ and Seton Hall. Dr. Zaidi has seen children, adolescents, and adults in private practice for over a decade. Dr. Zaidi is certified by the Board of Education to conduct psychiatric evaluations for school districts for Monmouth and surrounding counties.
