I’m an ANCC board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who believes mental healthcare should feel personal, supportive, and free of judgment. I know that no two people experience mental health in exactly the same way, which is why I take the time to understand you as a whole person, not just the symptoms you’re experiencing. I’d describe my approach as compassionate, collaborative, and thoughtful.
I am a Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based mental health care in a supportive and judgement free environment. I work with adolescents and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, using collaborative care approach to personalized treatment plans that aligns with each client's goals. I believe that every person deserve to feel heard and empowered. My goal is to help you build resilience, improve your well-being, and achieve lasting, meaningful change.
With over 15 years of nursing experience, my passion for psychiatry began early in my nursing career as I witnessed patients transform their lives through healing, self-discovery, and resilience. It is profoundly humbling meeting someone at their lowest point and having the privilege of walking alongside them as they do the work to become their best selves.
I work with adults ages 18 to 60 from all walks of life, with a special focus on individuals who are often overlooked, misunderstood, or silently struggling. Many of the people I work with appear “put together” on the outside—successful, dependable, and strong—while internally feeling overwhelmed, exhausted, or barely holding it together.
I was born and raised in Boston, Massachusetts, to immigrant parents from Haiti, and my cultural background plays an important role in who I am as a provider. Being deeply connected to both Haitian and American cultures has given me a broad perspective and a deep appreciation for cultural identity, family systems, and the shared human experience. At the core, struggle looks very similar across cultures—and everyone deserves care that is respectful, culturally responsive, and compassionate.
For ten years, I have worked alongside children with autism, ADHD, anxiety, depression, and OCD. My career in pediatric nursing shaped how I see each young person I work with: as a whole child in the context of their family, their school, and their community. Now I am building my psychiatric practice around the children who deserve specialized care from someone who genuinely understands them. I work with children, adolescents, and young adults. I take the time needed to get it right, because every child's situation is different.
I’m a board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with a background in pharmacy, giving me a well-rounded perspective on mental health care. I work primarily with children, adolescents, and young adults, while also supporting older adults. My practice is rooted in compassion, advocacy, and respect for each person’s unique journey.

Find the right psychiatrist for you
Headway makes it easy to find support for your mental health — from finding the right provider, to understanding costs, to scheduling with ease.
Factors to Consider When Choosing a Therapist in Lexington
Finding the right psychiatrist in Lexington starts with understanding the kind of care you want to book. Psychiatrists, psychiatric nurse practitioners, medical doctors, and doctors of osteopathic medicine can diagnose mental health conditions and prescribe medication. Therapists provide talk therapy and may work alongside a prescriber. If you’re looking for support with anxiety, depression, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder, bipolar disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder, or medication management, look for a psychiatrist whose listed specialties match your needs and whose bio explains how they structure care.
Lexington is a smaller market, so local psychiatrist offices may have fewer appointment times than larger nearby areas. Virtual psychiatry appointments can expand your options while still letting you search for a psychiatrist who fits your schedule, preferences, and insurance plan. Medication management visits are usually shorter and less frequent than therapy sessions, though some psychiatrists also offer therapy. Some people work with both a therapist and a prescriber. As you compare profiles, check whether the psychiatrist is accepting new patients, offers appointment times that work for you, and provides a free phone consultation before you book.
Psychiatric care in Lexington can be a significant expense without insurance. Using in-network insurance is one of the most reliable ways to reduce session costs and understand your expected payment before your first appointment. Headway helps you search for psychiatrists in Lexington who are accepting new patients, verify your insurance, and see estimated costs upfront. You can browse profiles, review specialties and availability, and book directly when you’re ready.
If you're already taking psychiatric medication and considering switching providers, talk to your current prescriber before changing or stopping any medication — most psychiatric medications shouldn't be stopped abruptly. Anyone experiencing thoughts of self-harm or in acute crisis should call 988 or go to the nearest emergency department rather than wait for an outpatient appointment.
