I'm David Guo, a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) serving clients throughout Honolulu and across all of Hawaii via secure telehealth. Whether you're in Downtown Honolulu or on Maui, Molokai, Kauai, or the Big Island, I'm here to support you. I believe real healing starts with real connection. I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and a graduate of Frontier Nursing University, with over 11 years of nursing experience and one year of advanced clinical training across outpatient psychiatry, crisis stabilization, inpatient detoxification, skilled nursing facilities, and telehealth. I provide evidence-based psychiatric evaluation, medication management, and psychotherapy for children, adolescents, and adults with ADHD, anxiety, depression, bipolar and mood disorders, trauma-related conditions, substance use disorders, and psychotic disorders, including complex and co-occurring presentations. My clinical background includes crisis intervention, suicide risk assessment, stabilization, and long-term outpatient care focused on functional improvement and sustained recovery.
Justin Salandanan has been in the field of psychiatry for over a decade and has been treating adult clients of various ethnic backgrounds for several years. Justin specializes in the medication management of depression, anxiety, and sleep disturbances.
I support children, teens, adults, and families across Hawaiʻi with integrative psychiatry that honors the whole person. I work with people navigating anxiety, mood changes, attention and neurodevelopmental differences, and life transitions, and I welcome those seeking care that feels thoughtful, collaborative, and grounded. My approach combines traditional psychiatric care with evidence-based holistic support, with attention to symptoms, root causes, and overall well-being. I am a board certified child and adolescent psychiatrist. I attended medical school at John A. Burns School of Medicine and triple board (general pediatrics, adult psychiatry, and child and adolescent psychiatry) residency at Brown University. It has been a privilege practice on my home island of Kaua'i since completing training in 2010.
