I provide compassionate, individualized treatment for children, teens, and adults who are navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, bipolar disorder, life transitions and other mental health illnesses. I have a passion for supporting individuals experiencing anxiety, panic attacks and social isolation.

I consider the whole person, mind, body, and spirit because I believe true healing comes from addressing every part of who we are. I earned my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Nursing from Jacksonville University and completed a Post-Master’s Certificate in Psychiatry at St. Thomas University. I’m currently working toward my Doctorate of Nursing Practice (DNP) at St. Thomas University, which allows me to stay up to date with the latest research and continue improving how I serve my clients.

Over the years, I’ve worked in inpatient hospitals, outpatient settings, and telehealth environments, giving me a broad understanding of how mental health shows up in different stages and spaces of life. I am a double board-certified Psychiatric–Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over 20 years of experience across the continuum of psychiatric care, including acute psychiatric emergencies, inpatient and outpatient psychiatry, geriatric mental health, intellectual and developmental disability services, and healthcare management. I hold a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) and am currently completing my Doctorate, reflecting my ongoing commitment to clinical excellence, evidence-based practice, and lifelong learning.

Throughout my career, I have worked with individuals and families navigating a wide range of psychiatric conditions, from situational anxiety and depression to severe and persistent mental illness. My clinical experience includes extensive work with schizophrenia and psychotic disorders, bipolar disorder, major depressive disorder, generalized anxiety disorder, panic disorder, obsessive–compulsive disorder (OCD), trauma-related conditions, and mood instability across the lifespan. I am particularly experienced in caring for geriatric patients, individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, and patients with complex medication regimens requiring careful evaluation, simplification, and long-term stabilization.

I also work closely with college-aged patients and adults who are navigating academic pressure, career transitions, family dynamics, identity development, and the cumulative stressors that can emerge during periods of high responsibility or change. Many of my patients are high-functioning individuals who appear “put together” on the outside but struggle internally with anxiety, rumination, intrusive thoughts, emotional dysregulation, or burnout. Others are managing chronic psychiatric illness while striving to maintain independence, relationships, and quality of life.

She provides comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis, and medication management for individual's navigating a wide range of mental health concerns, such as anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, substance use thought disorders, andadjustment challenges. Cameron’s approach is integrative and deeply collaborative—she values building strong therapeutic relationships where patients feel supported, understood, and empowered.

By tailoring treatment to each individual’s unique needs and goals, she creates a safe and encouraging environment that fosters growth and long-term wellness.Throughout her career, Cameron has worked in private practice, academic medicine at the CU, and hospital-based settings, where she has not only delivered direct care but also supervised clinical teams.

I am a psychiatrist trained in adult psychiatry, though I do have some experience working in adolescent and geriatric psychiatry as well. I try to integrate western medicine approaches to care with more holistic approaches, which often includes providing psychotherapy, medications, and lifestyle modification. I have specific interest in different psychotherapy modalities, and often incorporate some aspects of psychotherapy in my visits with clients even if this is not the primary focus.
