Initial appointment will include assessment, diagnosis and options available for treatment to include non medicinal choices as well as prescription medication when/if appropriate. The most common diagnoses I work with include Depression, Anxiety, ADHD, Bipolar disorder, Insomnia and more. I am willing to work collaboratively with your therapist as well as Pcp to provide the best choice in caring for your mental health.

I earned my Bachelor of Science in Nursing from University of Texas Arlington, and Master of Science in Nursing immediately after. Board certified by ANCC and have 19 years of Nursing experience.

I'm Astrid, a dedicated nurse practitioner with over 18 years of healthcare experience, including over 6 years in mental health, presently welcoming clients in FLORIDA and COLORADO.

I earned my Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Colorado State University Pueblo, followed by a Master of Science in Nursing Education from Western Governors University. I later completed a Post-Master's Certificate as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, allowing me to provide psychiatric care across the lifespan.

I offer secure telehealth appointments for patients throughout Colorado, caring for children ages 6 and older, adolescents, adults, and older adults. I provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis, and medication management for a variety of mental health conditions, including ADHD, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, trauma-related disorders, and other emotional and behavioral concerns.

I’m Krishawnda (or Shawnda for short)! I’ve been working as a nurse since 2011. I was a RN for 9 years and have been a psychiatric nurse practitioner since 2020. My BSN was obtained from the University of Kentucky. My graduate degree is from Eastern Kentucky University. I have worked in geriatric psych, adult psych, and child psychiatry.
