My path in mental health began as a mental health worker and progressed through nursing and leadership roles, including charge nurse and house supervisor. That's given me broad experience with a wide range of mental health needs. I work with children, adolescents, adults, and veterans from diverse backgrounds and provide comprehensive initial psychiatric evaluation, medication management, and psychotherapy. My treatment areas include anxiety, depression, ADHD, bipolar disorder, panic disorder, PTSD, trauma, grief, stress, and relationship and family concerns, with an interest in women's mental health. I am a board certified, doctoral prepared PMHNP. I completed my post graduate at National University in Adult, Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. I earned my DNP from Azusa Pacific University and graduated from CSUSB MSN program. I have been a faculty at CSUSB since 2014. Extensively trained and a certified Trauma-Informed specialist. I diagnose and treat mental disorders including medication-assisted treatment along with counseling for chemical dependency and substance use disorders.

I've built my career working in adult medicine, with a deep focus on addiction and medication assisted treatment. Anxiety and depression are areas where I find this work especially rewarding.
