Great to meet you!
As your therapist I strive to create a warm, safe, engaging space where we can explore your strengths and build a do-able plan to help get you through the tough spots. Finding light in the darkest moments, and hope when it feels lost. For 25 years, Stacey has helped people rewrite their stories, move through pain, and reclaim their sense of self. As a Marriage and Family Therapist, Stacey specializes in guiding individuals and couples through depression, anxiety, grief, trauma, life transitions, relationship and family strain and even moments of deep hopelessness. Outside the therapy room, you’ll find her thrifting for hidden gems, traveling, cheering on her favorite sport teams or playing games—because joy and play are powerful parts of healing, too.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and have worked within the mental health field for the past four years. With a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and English and a Masters of Science in Counselor Education, I have experience with developing strong and trusting relationships, helping individuals process their emotions, and blending therapeutic approaches for creative solutions.
I have experience working with a range of clients including children who are five and older, adolescents, and adults. I have worked in a variety of settings from clinical to school-based, and feel comfortable and confident in creating an environment in any space to help individuals feel comfortable and promote optimal growth and well-being. I have experience helping clients with anxiety, adjustment disorders, depression, life transitions, stress, and eating disorders as well as providing a setting for clients to learn skills and insights to manage and regulate their emotions.
I specialize in supporting people navigating trauma, addiction, and tough emotional seasons. As an APSW and SAC-IT in Wisconsin, I bring training in Youth-Oriented Substance Abuse and Trauma Counseling, as well as Brainspotting. In our work together, we’ll look at how your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors connect—especially around substance use, trauma, and patterns that feel hard to change—so you can feel safer, more understood, and more in control of your life.
I work with adults experiencing anxiety, chronic stress, burnout, life transitions, chronic health concerns using a lifestyle medicine–informed approach. Many clients feel overwhelmed managing both mental health symptoms and physical conditions, while balancing work, relationships, and caregiving demands. Often high-functioning yet exhausted, they carry a significant mental and physical load and feel disconnected from their needs or direction. This work focuses on restoring stability by addressing the behavioral and lifestyle factors that influence overall health.
I believe prioritizing mental health is an important part of creating a balanced and fulfilling life, and I know reaching out for support is often one of the hardest steps to take. Since beginning my practice in 2021, I have worked primarily with adults navigating challenges related to anxiety, depression, PTSD, trauma, and life transitions. My goal is to create a supportive space where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered as we work together toward healing, self understanding, and meaningful growth.
