Hi there—I’m so glad you’re here. Life has thrown me my share of curveballs: childhood trauma, family struggles with addiction, deep losses, and the constant upheaval of moves and changing homes. Those experiences taught me what it feels like to question your worth—and how powerful it is to reclaim it.
Since 2022, I’ve been walking alongside people who are navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, or simply trying to make sense of being human in a complicated world. As an EMDR-certified and EFT-trained therapist, I love helping clients uncover the roots of their pain and build the skills to heal and thrive. My approach is trauma-informed, attachment-focused, and always centered on you—your story, your goals, your pace.
I work with teens and adults specializing in complex PTSD, anxiety, depression, and other trauma related mental health issues. Whether you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or just curious about what therapy might offer, I’m here to help you reconnect with your strengths and move toward the life you want—with compassion, curiosity, and practical tools for lasting change.
As a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) and Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C) with over 16 years of healthcare experience, I believe healing starts with feeling safe, heard, and understood. My own life experiences, combined with my clinical training, have shaped the compassionate, whole-person approach I bring to every client. I provide evidence-based care for anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, mood disorders, and other mental health concerns while working collaboratively to help you reach your goals.
Many factors come into our lives that we did not plan for -- chronic pain, injuries, aging, and the natural decline of our bodies. How do we maximize our lives in spite of pain? How do we sustain our selves, our communication and our intimacy? How do we come to grips with the grief and reality of aging and even our mortality? How do we live our lives in spite of pain, sustain our sense of fun and play even while we act our age, and even, age gracefully? How do we communicate our expectations, desires, and fears to our families and partners? I am a licensed marriage and family therapist, gerontologist, and board-certified sex therapist (ABS). For over 12 years, I have worked with individuals and couples working to create more fulfilling relationships. I have specialized in grief, loss, and trauma and I am expanding that to support chronic pain and aging. I am an LGBTQ affirming provider and a member of the Utah LGBTQ Affirming Therapists Guild. I accept a broad insurance panel including Aetna, BCBS, Cigna, SelectHealth, Regence, and TriWest (for veterans), and looking to expand into medicare.
Maybe you’ve been feeling overwhelmed, anxious, disconnected, or stuck in patterns that are becoming harder to manage. You may be struggling in your relationships, carrying the effects of past experiences, or finding that the ways you learned to cope just aren’t working as well anymore. Even if you’re pretty “self-aware” and understand what’s going on intellectually, it can be incredibly frustrating to know why you do something and still feel unable to change it. Annoyingly, sometimes insight alone isn’t enough.
When that builds over time, it can spill into our relationships, confidence, motivation, and ability to be present. We can find ourselves overthinking, shutting down, or wondering why certain things affect us more deeply than they should. And sometimes overthinking actually does help, which can make it even harder to stop.
I’m an LCSW specializing in crisis and trauma, with experience supporting neurodivergent people, including those with autism and ADHD. My approach is attachment-based, trauma-informed, collaborative, and practical. My goal is to help you turn insight into meaningful change. If that resonates, I’d be glad to connect.
You've been going it alone for so long and surviving but you've reached a point where a listening ear and some new coping skills are necessary. Reaching out for therapy takes courage, and the rewards can be so worth it. My experience as a therapist can help you get unstuck and thriving again.
I bring 20 years of experience as a social worker across a range of mental health settings, but individual therapy is where I feel most at home. I often work with people navigating life transitions, stress, relationship challenges, and that “stuck” feeling. I also use DBT-informed approaches to help build coping skills and emotional balance.
