My name is Malinda, and I am a licensed professional counselor supervisor. I completed my undergraduate degree in Psychology from Argosy University, my graduate degree in Forensic Psychology with a concentration in Law Enforcement from Argosy University, and my graduate degree in Counseling from Dallas Baptist University. I worked with probationers for three years providing counseling services at a private practice and taught Marijuana Intervention, Life Skills, and the DWI Safety Education Course. I have worked at two hospitals, one as a Mental Health Technician while in graduate school and then as a Treatment Manager at another hospital once completing that degree. From there I have continued to work in private practice. I work with individuals (adults and children from ages 12 and up), couples, and families.
I addition, I work with military and those in law enforcement. I specialize in addiction, trauma, personality and mood disorders, eating disorders, LGBTQ+, criminal behavior, self-harm, obsessive-compulsive disorder, anger management, Autism, ADHD, single parenting, chronic illness, and rare diseases.
