I have nearly 15 years of experience supporting adults and professionals who are navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges. I’m licensed in NY, NJ, Arizona and Florida, and my focus is on creating a warm, safe, and collaborative space where we can work toward your goals together.
I believe that a strong therapeutic relationship is the foundation of meaningful growth. You are the captain of the ship, guiding the direction of your healing, and I serve as a trusted co-captain helping you navigate the course. I may offer tools or “homework” to support your progress between sessions, but I also value simply holding space for you to reflect and be yourself.
Compassion and integrity are central to my therapeutic process—I show up with consistency, care, and professionalism so you always feel supported and understood. Together, we’ll focus on cultivating deeper self-awareness, emotional balance, and more fulfilling connections in your life.
My name is Casey, and I am a licensed clinical social worker based in New York City. Most recently, I have been working at an NYU Langone family health center in Brooklyn, supporting individuals facing a wide range of challenges, with a particular focus on co-occurring substance use and mental health concerns.
Before becoming a therapist, I developed programming and partnerships for a company centered on holistic wellness and spiritual inquiry. Through that work, I was exposed to alternative modalities such as herbalism, psychedelics, astrology, tarot, and Eastern philosophies. These experiences have deepened my understanding of healing and complement the tools offered by contemporary psychology.
For 11 years, I have sat with people at some of the hardest moments of their lives, from
medical crises to the quieter weight of anxiety, depression, and relationship strain. I bring a
collaborative, nonjudgmental presence because the best work happens when you feel
genuinely heard. If you are ready to start, I would love to meet you.
Hello, and welcome. I am truly glad that you have chosen to take this important first step on your journey toward wellness, healing, and contentment. Making the decision to seek support is not always easy. In fact, for many people, the first step can feel like the most challenging one. It often requires vulnerability, honesty, courage, and a willingness to embrace change. Yet despite its difficulty, it is also one of the most powerful and meaningful decisions you can make for yourself.
By taking this step, you are investing in your well-being and demonstrating a commitment to your personal growth. Whether you are facing specific challenges, navigating life transitions, working through difficult emotions, strengthening relationships, or simply seeking a greater sense of balance and fulfillment, you have already begun moving toward positive change.
I graduated from Columbia University with a Master’s of Science Degree in Clinical Practice of Social Work. I found my niche after completing undergraduate in Early Childhood Education (kudos to our teachers!) and Sociology/Psychology. These experiences paved the way to my clinical social work journey. I obtained clinical licensure by working with adolescents in both school and therapeutic settings, foster/adoptive families, and adults with serious persistent mental illness.
I’m a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner who began my career at the Dent Neurologic Institute, where I focused on the connection between brain function and mental health. I am a good listener and devote much of my appointment time to understanding patient concerns and treatment expectations. This helps me provide consistently positive outcomes without relying on polypharmacy or a hit-and-trial approach. My psychiatric practice is rooted in my knowledge of how different neurotransmitters influence mood, memory, intellect, and cognition, shaping each person’s unique experience.
I'm a trauma-informed therapist in New York and Florida who works specifically with moms of explosive boys. My training is rooted in understanding the nervous system — which means I work beneath the behavior, not just at the surface of it. I'm not going to hand you a sticker chart or tell you to pick your battles. I understand what you're actually dealing with — and I take it seriously.
