My professional experience includes work in a variety of mental health & addiction settings; ranging from inpatient psychiatric, intensive outpatient programs (IOPs), crisis stabilization, routine outpatient community mental health, and my own private practice with individuals, groups, & couples. Emotions can be overwhelming, especially when coupled with difficult memories from your past. Along with poor sleep, brain fog, and no energy, it can seem impossible to cope. Many people struggle with these symptoms whether it’s from depression, anxiety, trauma, relationship issues, or difficult life transitions. Life can be hard and we all need help sometimes. I'm here to help you figure out what works best for you.

I have dedicated most of my career to working in the healthcare and mental health industry, helping clients overcome life's many struggles.
I am trained to employ a variety of techniques, which include cognitive-behavioral treatment (CBT) for anxiety, depression, and other related disorders. I also have special interests in acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) and coaching. All of my techniques are compassion-focused, person-centered, solution-oriented, and strength-based therapies
When I was growing up, I always thought I wasn’t dealt a good hand in life. I had family issues that would top any reality tv show to date. I often felt like there was no one I could really open up to and share my inner thoughts and feelings with. I was wearing “masks” before the pandemic, always smiling when deep down I wanted to cry. I tried therapy a couple times and it just didn’t work for me. I felt like I wasn’t understood, that I was being judged. I decided to give it another shot and found my match, a therapist that looked like me, that could relate to me and my struggle. It felt genuine and not forced. That’s what made me want to get into the field of Social Work. Now, with 8 years of professional experience, I live out my purpose every day as a guide to help people unlock the tools of empowerment that they already possess. Whatever the issue, (whether it be getting through everyday life, coming to terms with past traumas, getting over a bad break-up, parenting/abandonment issues, lack of self-esteem, or a host of other problems), my eclectic approach to therapy will allow you to embark on a journey of self-reflection, self-love, and self-care. I look forward to helping you find your inner peace while getting closer to your winning hand in life.
