As a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner, I have a wealth of experience treating all populations adolescents, adults, and geriatric populations. Starting as nurse aide, I have been in this field for over 20 years. I obtained an associate degree in nursing from Hudson County Community College, a Bachelor of Science from New Jersey City University, a Master of Science from Wilkes University, and currently pursuing a Doctorate Degree at Wilkes University. I believe prioritizing mental health is key to happiness and stability in life. Seeking help can be one of the most daunting and hardest parts, so congratulations on taking that step! I am mindful that growing up, so many peoples around me who had mental health challenges were often misunderstood and, as such, did not receive the proper care they needed. Dr. Claudette L Blake, DNP, APRN, MSN, PMHNP-BC, is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with a background in psychiatry, oncology, correctional health, geriatric care, and healthcare leadership. Her broad professional experiences strengthen her clinical perspective and decision making. Together, your mental health becomes the priority.

I am a warm and empathic therapist with over 25 years experience. I work with individuals and families to address a variety of issues including depression, anxiety , bipolar disorder, life transitions, sexuality, grief and loss, and substance abuse.

I’ve very open minded and calm. I try to meet my clients where they are and gain a better understanding of goals they would like to reach or areas of their life they may be struggling to cope with.

After several years of working as a Clinical Psychologist in Lima-Perú, I obtained my Masters degree in Marriage and Family Therapy in the United States. I have experience in assessing and treating families, couples and individuals within the context of their relationships, focusing on families struggling with a variety of challenges including trauma, parenting, anxiety, emotional and physical abuse, and loss.

I bring over 25 years of clinical and leadership experience to my work and am the founder of The Vine Health Services. I’m a doctoral-prepared, dual-certified Nurse Practitioner in both Family and Psychiatric care, which allows me to look at your health from every angle — mind, body, and spirit.
