Hi, I'm Winter. I offer my clients a warm, safe environment to explore and grow together. My goal is to support you and help work through whatever has brought you to therapy.
People seek therapy because they instinctively know that by reaching out to make a connection, they can get a greater understanding and courage. I would like to assist you in the process of gaining better clarity in your life. Through this connection, we can discover a bridge that leads to your inner power and confidence. Working as a Critical Incident Stress Debriefing Counselor, I use several tools, including Mindfulness Techniques, Solution Focused Therapy, Functional Family Therapy, and practices from my book The "I AM" Solution. I want to empower you to find your potential and transformation. Peace and Blessings.
I’ve spent over 22 years as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, helping people just like you navigate life’s biggest challenges. I'm licensed in Texas, Utah, Arizona, and Nevada.
My personal belief is therapy is a space for growth, discovery, and healing. It’s a brave step, and I’m here to guide you.
Maybe you're tired of feeling anxious or depressed. Maybe you're working through a difficult loss or a past trauma. Whatever brings you here, we'll work together to find a path that feels right for you.
You will set the pace and the agenda of our sessions. One week we may work on day to day obstacles. The next week, we may work on past issues and traumas. It's YOUR TIME!
Life often throws us into unpredictable, high-stress environments—and navigating those challenges can feel like an intense journey of its own. If you are feeling overwhelmed, burnt out, or carrying the weight of trauma, you don't have to navigate the trail alone.
I specialize in working with individuals who operate in high-stress, high-consequence roles—including military service members, veterans, first responders, and healthcare professionals. Whether you are dealing with critical incident stress, chronic burnout, or complex trauma, I provide a grounded, practical space tailored to the unique culture and demands of your work.
My approach is deeply informed by years of hands-on experience in high-stakes settings. After starting my career as a Wilderness EMT in 2016 and enlisting in the Army National Guard in 2018, I earned my Master’s in Social Work (MSW) from Utah State University. Since then, I’ve served as a Behavioral Health Officer in the National Guard and worked across emergency departments, crisis and disaster response, public education, and outpatient mental health.
Using evidence-based, trauma-informed therapies, my goal is to help you process difficult experiences, build sustainable resilience, and regain a sense of balance. Outside of the clinic, you’ll find me teaching CPR and Wilderness First Aid, spending time with my family, and finding adventure outdoors—a mindset I bring into therapy as we work together to help you thrive, no matter what environment you're navigating.
I specialize in helping individuals who are dealing with stress, anxiety and / or depression. We can't control what happens much of the time but can learn to navigate it.
I have a deep understanding and extensive clinical experience working with people who have been impacted by cancer or other life-altering medical diagnoses or situations. I believe therapy should be a collaborative space built on compassion and curiosity.

Prior to my work in counseling and academia, I served a tour of duty in Germany as an officer in the US Army and then back in America as a bank branch manager. I graduated from Brigham Young University with degrees in Corporate Communications (BA) and Educational Psychology (M.Ed.) and at the University of the Cumberlands (Ph.D.) in Counselor Education and Supervision.
I am a Christian Licensed Clinical Social Worker. My faith in the Holy Trinity of The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit greatly shape my life, and my work. I believe you have everything you need within you to achieve your goals and heal.
I am a therapist that has a passion for helping others break free from burdens. I believe our deepest secrets can be blockages to moving forward in life. My mission with every client is to create a space where they feel safe to be authentic, while learning ways to regain control of their lives. I am honored to support you in this journey you are getting ready to embark on and I am rooting for your success in the healing process. I am sending you well wishes and a safe space to chat.
With over 20 years of experience in the mental health field, I am passionate about guiding individuals on their journey to balance, mindfulness and joy. Throughout my career, I've had the privilege of working with diverse populations and addressing a wide range of mental health challenges. This journey has reinforced my belief that each person's path to well-being is unique and deserves a personalized approach.
I actively participate in helping you get to where you want to go, and I offer insight when clients have a desire and readiness to hear it. I have worked in the mental health field for over ten years as well, so I have heard it all! My office is a no judgement zone first and foremost.
