I am a published author. I have over 15 years of experience in the mental health field. I earned my undergraduate degree in psychology at Mississippi University for Women (2003). I also earned a Master’s in Mental Health Counseling from Walden University (2012).

As a doctorial prepared nurse practitioner, I've had the opportunity to build tools to support providers with improving the accuracy of their diagnoses. My autonomous background has provided me with a proven record in treating Mood Disorders, Eating Disorders, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, Women's Health related psychiatric disorders, Body Dysmorphia, as well as Sleep Disorders. Working within a diverse population including rural health has prepared me to serve and cater to the complexity and challenges faced by my clients, across all ages. In my spare time outside of the office, I enjoy reading, exercise, traveling, and playing with my puppy.
