As a therapist, I offer a nonjudgmental, compassionate space where you can feel safe to explore your experiences, emotions, and goals. I specialize in working with individuals navigating trauma, co-occurring disorders, and emotional dysregulation. My approach is grounded in evidence-based practices, including Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), which helps clients build skills in mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotion regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness.
I understand that healing is not linear—and that every person’s story is unique. Whether you're facing overwhelming emotions, struggling with addiction and mental health challenges, or trying to make sense of past trauma, I’m here to walk alongside you with empathy, respect, and clinical expertise.
Together, we’ll work toward greater self-understanding, resilience, and meaningful change.
Welcome! I'm Grace.
As a clinical social worker, I am passionate about helping people recognize the strengths they may not always see in themselves. Life can bring challenges that leave us feeling stuck, discouraged, or uncertain. Whether you're struggling with stress, relationship difficulties, life transitions, anxiety, or past experiences, you don't have to navigate those challenges alone.
For more than two decades, I've had the privilege of sitting with people through some of life's hardest moments — and it's work I still find deeply meaningful. I'm Susan, a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) with an MSW from the University of Michigan, offering telehealth therapy to adolescents, adults, and seniors throughout Michigan. I specialize in anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, grief, bipolar disorder, borderline personality, and more — bringing a strengths-based lens to every session.
I've been a listener my whole life — since I was a teenager, long before I had any clinical training, I learned that the most powerful thing one person can do for another is to genuinely pay attention. That hasn't changed. What has changed is that now I have the tools, training, and experience to help that attention lead somewhere. I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor based in Michigan. I work with individuals, families, couples, and children — and I see clients across the state through telehealth. I'm trained in a range of approaches including CBT, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Bowen Family Systems, which means I can adapt to what actually fits you — not just apply a template. I'm also comfortable holding faith and spirituality as part of your story if that's relevant for you. I'm not a "Christian therapist" in a prescriptive sense, but I've spent years working as a chaplain and I understand how much a person's spiritual framework shapes how they see themselves and the world. That's a welcome part of the conversation here.
Good for you! You’re here because you’re having difficulty in a relationship; or struggling with depression or anxiety and have decided you’re tired of feeling stressed and want to be better able to cope. You deserve to live your life to the fullest and not allow new - or longstanding issues to keep you from reaching your full potential. I focus on building a trusting relationship which will allow you to explore the changes you want to make to improve the quality of your life. I have successfully helped many clients reach their full potential by engaging in therapy treating YOU as a person, and not a disorder.
I am a Licensed Therapist with over two decades of experience, holding a Master’s degree in Social Work since 2003. Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of working with individuals and families from a wide range of ages, cultural backgrounds, socioeconomic statuses, and gender identities. My approach is grounded in empathy, respect, and a deep commitment to supporting each client’s unique journey toward healing and personal growth.
Reaching out for support takes real courage, and I am glad you are here. I am a psychologist who works with people navigating trauma, anxiety, and depression. I believe you already hold the strengths and experiences to build a life that feels genuinely meaningful, and my role is to help you fi nd and use them. If that resonates, I would love to connect.
Hi! My name is Helen Roberts, and I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Florida, Wisconsin, Michigan, and Iowa. I’ve been counseling children, teens, adults, couples, and families for over 20 years - but in my experience, that’s not really what you want to know. What you really want to know is, can I help you? And is there hope for things to change for you? As a matter of fact, there is, and I hope you’ll give me an opportunity to take that journey towards healing and empowerment with you. We can change the direction of your life right now and give you hope and power again!
I’m a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over 13 years of experience in behavioral health, including more than a decade as a psychiatric registered nurse. I earned my post-master’s certificate in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing from the University of Cincinnati and hold a Master of Science in Nursing with a focus in Clinical Nurse Specialist and Nursing Education from the University of Detroit Mercy.
I have experience working with children, adolescents, and adults from diverse backgrounds in outpatient, residential, correctional, and community-based settings. My areas of focus include depression, anxiety, ADHD, bipolar disorder, mood disorders, PTSD, schizophrenia and other psychotic disorders.
I believe mental health care should be collaborative, respectful, and individualized. My goal is to create a comfortable, nonjudgmental space where you feel heard, understand your treatment options, and feel empowered to take an active role in your mental health and overall well-being.
Hello. I would describe myself as being kind, caring and full of positive energy. I have 8years of experience working with substance abuse. I have 10 years of experience working in the mental health field. I graduated with both my Bachelor's and Master's in Social Work from Wayne State University. I have experience working in schools with middle school and high school. My preference is to work with co-occurring disorders (mental health diagnosis and substance abuse diagnosis).
I am actively welcoming new clients who are looking to do EMDR therapy.
I believe therapy works best when you feel genuinely seen, respected, and understood. I bring warmth, curiosity, honesty, a sense of humor, and directness into my work, while recognizing that healing from trauma is complex.
I see you as a whole person, not a diagnosis or a collection of symptoms. I value collaboration and autonomy, and I want you to have a voice in what we focus on and how we work together.
I also understand that culture, identity, relationships, and lived experiences shape how we understand ourselves and the world around us. As a Chinese woman who is part of the LGBTQ+ community, I carry my own unique lens of how the world works, and I welcome all of the lenses and identities you bring into the room.
I am also a cat mom, I have two fur babies that might join our session at times :)
I am intuitive and open minded. I believe it is important for the client to be safe and comfortable to share the good and the bad. If you feel an approach is not working feel free to be honest about this in session so we can discuss options to get past stuck points.
