I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Doctorate in Social Work, and I bring both clinical expertise and real life understanding into the therapy space. My professional background includes years of direct clinical practice as well as leadership roles in complex, high stress systems, including serving as a Mental Health Director. These experiences have shaped my ability to support individuals who are navigating pressure, responsibility, and emotional overwhelm while still being expected to function at a high level.

I work best with clients who are strong on the outside but struggling internally. Many of the people I support are women, mothers, professionals, caregivers, and helpers who are used to showing up for others while neglecting their own emotional needs. I have a particular passion for working with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, imposter syndrome, burnout, life transitions, relationship stress, identity concerns, and trauma related to past or ongoing stressors.

Therapy with me is not about having all the answers. It is about learning how to trust yourself, set healthy boundaries, and show up for your life with more compassion and confidence.

Hello. My name is Arcell Bodden. I received my Bachelor’s of Arts in psychology from the University of New Orleans and my Master’s of Education with a focus in counseling from Texas Southern University. I am a licensed professional counselor (LPC) in Louisiana and I am also board certified by The National Board for Certified Counselors (NCC). I have 15 years of experience working with clients dealing with issues such as depression, anxiety, relationship issues, self esteem, substance abuse, and anger.

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I believe that mental health support should feel conversational and welcoming. Taking the first step toward seeking help can be uncomfortable, and I strive to create an environment where adolescents and young adults feel heard, understood, and supported throughout their time with me.

With experience in inpatient care working with adolescents, as well as serving as a school social worker, I have supported young people through a variety of emotional and life challenges. My focus is on helping adolescents and young adults navigate grief and loss, anxiety, depression, family conflict, and adjustment-related issues.

I work well with young adults and adults, particularly women, navigating complex emotions and experiences. Together we'll explore how your thoughts, emotions, body, environment, relationships, and past shape how you feel and act today. Using evidence-based approaches, I help clients build insight and practical tools. We might shift unhelpful thought patterns, develop coping strategies, learn to regulate emotions, and explore your inner world to better understand your relationship to the outside world. I bring in mindfulness techniques to help you connect with yourself as you work through challenges, heal, and grow.

When I think of myself as a Counselor, I envision providing unconditional positive regard and "Good Old Fashion" Southern Louisiana Hospitality to clients. Based on the client's individualized needs, I practice the eclectic approach to guide them through the healing process.

I am Tamiko Brown, a Provisional Licensed Professional Counselor specializing in Anxiety, Depression, and Spiritual Counseling. As a native of Bunkie, LA, I mostly enjoy serving others. I received a BS in Psychology with a minor in Chemistry and Biology and a Masters of Arts in Mental Health Counseling from Xavier University of Louisiana.
