Hello, and welcome! My name is Angela Mullins, and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) serving clients throughout Kentucky. I have over five years of experience helping individuals, couples, and families navigate life's challenges with compassion, evidence-based care, and a trauma-informed approach.
While my background is rooted in marriage and family therapy, I also specialize in treating trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, and life transitions. I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), and I have additional training in Internal Family Systems (IFS), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and other evidence-based therapeutic approaches. My goal is to tailor treatment to each client's unique needs, helping them heal from the past while building the skills needed to move forward with confidence.
I strive to create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered. I believe therapy should be collaborative, and I work alongside each client to identify meaningful goals and develop practical tools for lasting change.
For clients who desire it, I am also comfortable integrating Christian faith into the counseling process. I hold a Bachelor of Arts from John Hobson Bible Training Center and enjoy supporting individuals who wish to incorporate their faith as part of their healing journey, while always respecting each client's personal beliefs and preferences.
Whether you're struggling with trauma, relationship concerns, anxiety, depression, grief, or simply feeling stuck, I would be honored to walk alongside you as you work toward healing and growth.
My name is Chastity Munoz and I am a LPCC in the state of Kentucky. I graduated from Lindsey Wilson College in 2015 with a Master's of Education in Counseling and Human Development. I have worked with clients from 3 years to 75 years of age. I have worked with clients with depression, anxiety, grief, self-esteem, and stress.
In 1986, my journey in the field of human services began, fueled by a lifelong passion for helping others. Majoring in the Human Services concentration at high school laid the groundwork for my unwavering commitment to this mission.
Upon earning a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and a Master's in Science with a counseling specialty, my formal training commenced in 2002. Over the years, I've gained extensive experience and expertise, working in diverse settings. Anxiety, stress, worry, uncertainty, addictions and fear don't have to define your life. With over 16 years of clinical experience, I help individuals, couples, and families identify the beliefs, thought patterns, and automatic behaviors that keep them feeling stuck.
Hi! I'm glad you're here. My goal is to create a warm, supportive space where you can feel comfortable. I believe every person has strengths and I help you build on yours.
Hi, I’m Adam. I have a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Louisville, and I’ve spent my entire career in private practice over the past five years. My work focuses on helping people heal from trauma, and I’m trained in EMDR. I also work frequently with substance use concerns, depression, and anxiety.
Counseling for me is about companionship! Companions are with you through the good and the not-so-good. The most important thing in counseling is creating a relationship where people can feel and think how they want to about their experience within the relationship because whether we are stepping in the right or wrong direction we are ever growing and changing. Everyone perceives life through a different lens. Biological, physiological, and environmental variables influence those perspectives in different domains of people’s lives. All ages with: Anxiety, Depression, Addictions, Schizo and Mood Spectrum, Paraphallic, and Trauma.
In 2011, I came across a magazine photo of a little girl standing alone, looking confused and crying. Behind her, people from her community were running for safety, not noticing her. Their whole community was about to be destroyed by a tsunami. Later that year, when I faced a big change in my own life, I remembered that picture of the little girl. It reminded me that I was not alone.
I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Master’s degree in Social Work and over four years of experience providing trauma-informed mental health care. Since beginning my therapy career in 2022, I have supported individuals facing complex trauma, depression, anxiety, and attachment-related challenges.
I specialize in EMDR and mindfulness training, offering clients a dynamic blend of advanced therapeutic modalities and empathic presence. My approach is rooted in the belief that true healing requires both symptom relief and the opportunity to reframe core beliefs shaped by trauma. I believe in getting to the root of the present day issues.
My clinical work focuses on helping clients reclaim personal agency, build emotional resilience, and reconnect with meaning and self-worth. I hold space for deep emotional work and guide clients toward lasting transformation.
I am committed not just to alleviating distress but to empowering people to rewrite their stories.

Find the right therapist for you
Headway makes it easy to find support for your mental health — from finding the right provider, to understanding costs, to scheduling with ease.
Factors to Consider When Choosing a Therapist in Lexington
Searching for therapists in Lexington starts with finding someone whose experience matches what you want support with. Therapists may focus on anxiety, depression, ADHD, relationship challenges, grief, trauma, life transitions, or stress. As you compare options, look for listed specialties, therapy styles, and populations served. A therapist who mentions approaches like cognitive behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, or trauma-informed care may be a closer match if those approaches fit your goals.
Lexington has a strong local therapy community, with options near downtown, the University of Kentucky area, Hamburg, and surrounding Fayette County neighborhoods. Some people prefer an office close to work, school, or home, while others choose virtual therapy for more scheduling flexibility. When narrowing your search, review appointment times, whether the therapist is accepting new patients, and whether they offer a free phone consultation. Reading each therapist’s profile can help you understand their communication style, session structure, and approach before you book.
Therapy in Lexington can be a significant expense without insurance. Using in-network insurance is one of the most reliable ways to reduce session costs and understand what you may pay before care begins. Headway helps you search for therapists who match your needs, verify your insurance, and see an estimated session cost before you book. You can browse therapists, review bios, and book directly when you’re ready.
