I take a holistic approach to counseling and meet the client where they are at. I include CBT and solution-focused techniques in order to assist clients dealing with a variety of issues. I also have a background in TF-CBT informed therapy and utilize this as needed.

He also earned a bachelors degree (BA) in communication studies from Towson University. Prior to private practice Dr Colt worked at the Family Emergency Treatment Center in Sarasota, FL.

Jamilah Vega is a board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She received both her Bachelors of Science in Nursing, and her Master's of Science in Nursing from Chamberlain University. She has more than 10 years of combined experience across various areas of nursing including behavioral health, corrections, and hospice. Jamilah has experience caring for patients of all ages. She specializes in multiple mental health disorders some of which include anxiety, depression, ADHD, PTSD, and Bipolar Disorder.

I specialize in mood disorders (including depression and bipolar disorder), anxiety (generalized anxiety disorder, panic disorder, and social anxiety), and trauma-related conditions including PTSD. I am deeply committed to breaking the stigma surrounding mental health — and I understand firsthand how shame and silence can stand in the way of healing and daily functioning. Outside of work, I'm a parent who enjoys going to the pool and playing board games with my children, which keeps me grounded in the everyday joys that matter most.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker serving women in Montana and Florida through my private practice, Heart Development Strategies, LLC. I earned my Master of Social Work from Western New Mexico University and hold a graduate certificate in Rural Community Social Work. I am trained in EMDR, trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy, Internal Family Systems, and strengths-based, person-centered approaches.
