Hello Women, Moms & Kids. Are you a woman struggling with overwhelm, life-work balance, going through divorce, dealing with anxiety or depression, or just not enjoying where you're at in life? Or do you have a child struggling with mental wellness? My goal is dedicated to empowering you and/or your child to become who you were meant to be. I specialize with women, kids, parents, and teen girls. I offer in person, virtual, and nature based wellness sessions. I have a masters in clinical psychology and have been practicing for over 25 years.
Hello! I am Jenny, a licensed professional counselor who has been practicing since 2015 as a therapist with adults. I also have spent 20 years working with kids in schools. Now, I work full time in private practice and love being able to connect with clients in this way. I graduated in 2005 with a MA in School Counseling from the University of Northern Colorado.
I am a trauma-focused therapist and I work with adolescents, adults and couples navigating anxiety, depression, PTSD, childhood abuse, and other distressing life experiences.
Hi, I’m Laura and I specialize in helping women and teens heal from trauma, whether it shows up as anxiety, overthinking, people-pleasing, or feeling completely disconnected from themselves. I experienced trauma growing up and know firsthand how it impacts the whole body.
Through Somatic therapy, Brainspotting, and EMDR, I help clients release what’s stuck in their bodies and rebuild trust in themselves—because healing isn’t about “getting over it,” it’s about feeling safe again.
I work from a client centered and trauma informed approach addressing all aspects of a client's whole self, to help the client find healing, hope and freedom to navigate life's challenges and learn to thrive. Although I work with clients of all ages, I specialize in working with adolescents and young adults. I am committed to instilling hope in the lives of clients and their families. I love what I do and feel honored to have the opportunity to walk along side of you during this season of life.
I’m a psychiatric nurse practitioner who works from the belief that people are not broken—and that many of the struggles we call “mental illness” make sense when we look at trauma, context, and lived experience. I’m especially attuned to the ways mental health systems, stigma, and labels can unintentionally cause harm, and I aim to practice in a way that feels respectful, collaborative, and deeply human.
My approach is unconventional and trauma-informed, influenced by perspectives like those of Gabor Maté, which emphasize compassion, curiosity, and understanding symptoms as meaningful responses rather than defects. I do not believe in rushing to pathologize the human experience. As Joni Mitchell once reflected about depression, sometimes what we’re feeling is not an illness to be fixed, but a signal—an honest response to pain, loss, or a world that has not been kind.
Emily Biggs-Heisler, Ph.D., is a licensed clinical psychologist and the Clinical Director and Co-Owner of Mountainside Behavioral Health.
She has experience working with children, adolescents, and adults in clinical, research, and testing settings and is intensively trained in brief suicide prevention interventions, cognitive behavioral and trauma-based therapies, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
Dr. Biggs-Heisler provides individual, family, and couples therapy. She teaches DBT skills groups, provides supervision to staff and trainees, and works with clients who are twelve years old and above.
I specialize in working with women who feel stuck in patterns such as people-pleasing, overthinking, perfectionism, difficulty setting boundaries, or feeling disconnected from themselves. These patterns are often rooted in developmental and relational trauma and can continue to impact relationships, self-worth, and emotional well-being. My approach is integrative and trauma-informed, drawing from EMDR, Brainspotting, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to help clients heal at the root of their struggles.
