Growth isn't about having all the answers; it's about having a safe place to explore the questions. I provide specialized online therapy to help you better understand yourself, navigate life's challenges, and build practical tools for lasting change. For the past 13 years, I've helped high-achieving adults, including professionals in STEM, aviation, aerospace, healthcare, and analytical fields, manage anxiety, stress, burnout, relationship challenges, identity questions, and life transitions with greater confidence and clarity.
I welcome individuals from all backgrounds and have a special interest in working with LGBTQ+ and multicultural communities. My approach is warm, honest, and collaborative. Together, we'll identify what's getting in the way, build on your strengths, and work toward the goals that matter most to you using evidence-based strategies tailored to your unique needs.
As a licensed provider, I am proud to offer virtual sessions for clients located throughout Florida, Colorado, and South Carolina. Reach out today to schedule a consultation.
I found my passion for the healing process through my own therapeutic journey. You are not alone. I enjoy working with men and women both individually and couples. I am skilled in anger management, conflict resolution, intimate partner violence dynamics, managing anxiety and depression, adjustment to new stages of life, childhood trauma, boundaries, emotional regulation, and relationship issues.
Hello! My name is Megan Hilton, and I am an LPC mental health counselor. I obtained my Master's in Mental Health Counseling at Northwestern University in March of 2023, where I began seeing clients and gaining experience. I specialized in child and adolescent therapy while in school and have continued working with youths between 5 - 18 years old. I attended therapy myself as a child and adolescent and feel my personal experience has allowed me to better understand my younger clients. I have also gained experience working with adults through individual, couples, and family counseling.
Reaching out for help takes courage, and I'm glad you're here. Whether you're working through substance use, the aftermath of trauma, anger that feels hard to manage, or stress that's spilling into your family life, you don't have to figure it out alone. I've spent my career helping adults find their footing again, and I'd be honored to help you do the same.
Along the way I've trained in addiction recovery, trauma and abuse therapy, EMDR (Levels I and II), and Motivational Interviewing. I've also helped build intensive residential and outpatient treatment programs, and I train and supervise other clinicians in Colorado. What that means for you is experience you can lean on, with a person who treats you as a person, not a diagnosis.
I believe in a holistic focused approach to therapy. I incorporate mind, body and spirit to achieve a regulated emotional state and balance in one's life. I believe that client's are the experts in their own life and I have a variety of therapeutic techniques in my toolbox to accommodate each individual to find their unique healing path.
I specialize in emotional support for teenagers, young adults and adults who are struggling with trauma, grief, anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and life transitions. I support clients in developing a clear identity and understanding of their personal story, purpose and self-worth. I specialize in women in pregnancy, postpartum, and post termination.
If you are looking for support I would love to hear from you.
