Welcome to counseling for the first time, or welcome back! I am passionate about this work and see it as an honor to be with you during this time.
Hello! I'm Mary Harris, LPC. I work with people who are dealing with depression, chronic illness, grief & loss, life transitions, and LGBTQ-related issues. I received my M.Ed in Counseling from the University of North Texas in 2008, and a graduate certificate in Autism Spectrum Disorders from Arizona State University in 2019. I live in North Texas with my daughter, my spouse, and two adorable parakeets.
I graduated with my masters from Regis University in 2022. I have worked in inpatient, intensive outpatient and outpatient. I’ve worked with clients of all ages with different backgrounds, and particularly enjoy working with patients with OCD and anxiety disorders.
I'm a social worker with over a decade of fieldwork with various populations in numerous settings. My breadth of experience affords me special insight into and a deep passion for infertility, perinatal and postpartum struggles, chronic illness, and military life. Working together is mutually beneficial: I get to put years of schooling and experience into practice, and you get to work towards improved overall wellness.
Our sessions will begin at a pace that feels comfortable for you. I specialize in an integrative, holistic approach to depression, anxiety, trauma, and coping with life challenges. My therapeutic approach blends humanistic, mindfulness, somatic work, deep spiritual inquiry, CBT, and psychodynamic therapy, tailored to each client’s unique experiences.
I am a 2005 graduate of The University of South Dakota with a Master's in Counseling, and I have honed my skills toward healing the nervous system. As an LGBTQIA+ affirming therapist, I am a Certified Polyvagal Informed Somatic Trauma Treatment Practitioner trained to address trauma and the nervous system with EMDR and Cognitive Processing Therapy, as well as The Safe and Sound Protocol based on The Polyvagal Theory. Congratulations. Exploring options for therapy/therapists can be daunting, but finding a good fit is important. I've been a therapist with youth, adults, families and couples in multiple settings since 1999. While I have extensive training and experience in multiple Evidence-Based Therapies, I combine that with life experience to bring you the best partner for your exploration and improvement.
Hi! I'm Kelly (she/they). In the past, I've worked at hospices and crisis centers; I'm passionate about creating space to hold the heavy parts of life. My expertise lies in grief counseling, and I work with all different kinds of loss. I currently work in private practice, and I see both individuals and couples. I enjoy working with teens and young adults, queer and trans folx, and neurodivergent clients struggling with depression, anxiety, trauma, life transitions, and existential dread.
