Great to meet you!

I am a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Nurse Practitioner. I graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington and have over 15 years of nursing experience in various health care settings.

I use evidence-based methods to treat various psychiatric and mental health disorders in patients six years of age and older. I am passionate about delivering comprehensive, compassionate care and understand the essential role patients' life experiences play in achieving positive outcomes.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I believe that trust, open-mindedness, and nonjudgmental therapeutic communication are foundational to successful treatment outcomes. I use a comprehensive approach to care that focuses on listening, being sensitive to my patients’ life experiences, and developing a treatment plan that includes psychotherapy and medication management if needed. Ultimately, I seek to build a supportive partnership with my patients and help them achieve their health care goals.

What you can expect from our first session

At the end of each encounter, clients will feel that their voices and concerns were heard and adequately addressed. Together, we will build a healthy partnership, set realistic, achievable goals, and formulate treatment plans that are unique to them. Finally, clients should expect collaboration, with their permission, with other professionals and loved ones to help support treatment.
