I offer virtual or in-person therapy sessions in Castle Rock, Colorado. I know what it's like to struggle with depression, addiction, and narcissistic abuse. I became a therapist and an energy healer after going through my own "dark night of the soul." Many clients tell me that they relate to me because I have been though similar experiences and know what it's like to push through depression, and overcome addiction and trauma. My goal isn't to help you merely mask symptoms, but to help you navigate through them while healing the underlying roots, staying grounded, and discovering your most authentic self and a life of fulfillment and thriving.

I’m a psychiatric nurse practitioner who works from the belief that people are not broken—and that many of the struggles we call “mental illness” make sense when we look at trauma, context, and lived experience. I’m especially attuned to the ways mental health systems, stigma, and labels can unintentionally cause harm, and I aim to practice in a way that feels respectful, collaborative, and deeply human.

My approach is unconventional and trauma-informed, influenced by perspectives like those of Gabor Maté, which emphasize compassion, curiosity, and understanding symptoms as meaningful responses rather than defects. I do not believe in rushing to pathologize the human experience. As Joni Mitchell once reflected about depression, sometimes what we’re feeling is not an illness to be fixed, but a signal—an honest response to pain, loss, or a world that has not been kind.

I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor who works with adolescents and adults navigating trauma, addiction, emotional challenges, and difficult relationships. I earned my MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Colorado Christian University, graduating with high distinction. My professional background includes residential addiction treatment, individual therapy, and supporting individuals and families through complex life challenges. I am especially passionate about helping people understand how past experiences and relationships shape their sense of self and connection with others. I also support parents and those impacted by a loved one's substance use, including challenges with boundaries, codependency, and burnout.

I have been in the mental health field for over twelve years. My experience has allowed me to provide therapeutic services focused on those who have experienced trauma, family issues, lack of identity/purpose, and couples/relationship issues.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and EMDR-trained therapist who works with adults navigating trauma, PTSD, anxiety, OCD, depression, life transitions, relationship difficulties, and challenges related to identity and self-worth. As a U.S. Army veteran and former Army behavioral health professional, I have a particular interest in working with veterans, service members, first responders, and individuals who have experienced high-stress environments. I also enjoy working with men around issues that can sometimes be difficult to discuss openly, including emotional expression, relationships, anger, shame, identity, performance pressure, and life purpose.

As a Mandarin-speaking Asian American therapist, I am especially interested in supporting Asian and Asian American clients navigating cultural expectations, family dynamics, intergenerational differences, identity, perfectionism, emotional expression, and the pressure to meet high personal or family standards.

My clinical background includes work in hospital-based behavioral health, intensive outpatient treatment, severe and persistent mental illness, substance use treatment, crisis assessment, and military behavioral health. I integrate EMDR, CBT, DBT-informed skills, mindfulness, and other evidence-based and trauma-informed approaches based on each client's individual needs.
