Welcome! I support adults navigating anxiety, depression, relationship concerns, grief and loss, stress, and significant life transitions. Whether you’re going through a difficult season, feeling overwhelmed by emotions, struggling in your relationships, or adjusting to an unexpected change, my goal is to help you feel supported while we work together to better understand what you’re experiencing.
My professional background includes working with individuals and families across a variety of settings, including corrections and community-based mental health services. These experiences have allowed me to work with people from many different backgrounds and life circumstances and have shaped my understanding of the unique challenges each person can face.
I provide therapy in both English and Spanish and strive to create a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where you can feel heard, understood, and comfortable being yourself. Together, we can build on your strengths, develop helpful tools for managing life’s challenges, and work toward greater balance, confidence, and well-being.
I have a Master's degree in Social Work and have worked for many years in Florida and Arizona helping adults with depression, anxiety, relationship issues, healing from PTSD trauma and addictions.
I help clients manage anxiety, depression, and stress one step at a time by offering practical tools and supportive, empowering therapy in a safe, nonjudgmental space.
Taking the first step toward better mental health is an act of courage, and I am here to support you every step of the way. As a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, I am committed to providing compassionate, personalized care that honors your unique story, background, and lived experiences.
My approach is collaborative and patient-centered. I take the time to truly understand who you are — your strengths, your challenges, and your goals — so that together we can build a care plan that is meaningful and effective for your life. I believe that the therapeutic relationship is the foundation of good outcomes, and I am dedicated to creating a space where you feel safe, respected, and genuinely heard.
I'm Kristen Vallely, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) offering telehealth across Arizona and Colorado. I earned my Master of Advanced Study in Marriage and Family Therapy from Arizona State University and am EMDR trained, a Certified Sex Therapy Informed Professional (CSTIP), and trained in TF CBT. I draw on Emotionally Focused Therapy, the Gottman Method, solution focused work, and family systems, alongside a somatic lens that attends to what the body holds. I especially love working with trauma, relational healing, parenting, integration work, and diverse relationship structures, including consensual nonmonogamy and polyamory. Outside the therapy room, I travel often, keep learning, and bring lived understanding of the many ways people build meaningful relationships.
