As a native Houstonian, I am deeply rooted in assisting children, adolescents, and young adults in our community navigate their daily experiences, social interactions, and life transitions. With over 20 years of mental health experience in a variety of settings, I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (private practice) and a School Psychologist (public schools). I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Texas with experience supporting teens, young adults, older adults, and families through some of life’s most difficult moments. I earned my Master of Science in Social Work from UT Austin’s Steve Hicks School of Social Work, with a focus on clinical practice and healthcare.
For the past several years, I worked in a cancer hospital providing psychological support to patients and their families as they navigated serious illness, uncertainty, loss, and major life transitions. This experience shaped my particular interest in grief and loss, medical trauma, chronic illness, spirituality, and the emotional impact of health challenges.
