I hold a master's degree in counseling and I'm licensed as a Professional Counselor (LPC), with certification as a National Certified Counselor (NCC). I've worked across agency and private practice settings with a wide range of clients, which showed me early on how much this work can support people in very different seasons of life.
My focus is on relationships: with a partner, with yourself, or with people you've never quite felt close to. I work with individuals, teens, and couples, and I'm EMDR-trained and Gottman Level 1 Trained for that work. Whether someone is feeling disconnected from a partner, unsure how to make decisions without worrying what everyone else thinks, or carrying anxiety and stress that's built up over time, my approach centers on figuring out, together, what isn't working and how to shift it in a way that actually fits their life.
Hello! I am glad you're here.
I bring over 10 years of experience working with adults struggling with mental health and/or substance use issues.
I support clients who struggle to grasp a happier future and feel overwhelmed on what next steps look like. You may be struggling maintaining relationships, low confidence, trust, shame, low motivation, loss of interest in things, avoiding social situations or other things. I am here to help. The first step is booking a time with me and we can go from there.
I am driven to help you reach your goals. I approach therapy with genuine curiosity, offering a safe, space to share. I value hearing your perspective to understand where you're coming from and to know how to support getting you to where you want to go.
Hi there! I work with adolescents and young adults who are navigating a variety of life challenges and mental health concerns. Whether you're struggling with anxiety, depression, ADHD, life transitions, women's issues, substance use, PTSD, relationship difficulties, or Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD), ect., my goal is to provide a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you feel heard, understood, and empowered to create meaningful change.
My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and tailored to your individual needs. I believe therapy should be a place where you can explore difficult emotions, gain insight into patterns that may no longer serve you, and develop practical skills to help you move toward the life you want.
As a Nigerian American therapist, I also recognize the impact that culture, identity, and family dynamics can have on mental health. I enjoy helping clients navigate the unique challenges that can arise from balancing multiple identities while honoring their values, experiences, and personal goals. I love animals, yoga, traveling, live music, and farmer's markets!
Welcome! I'm Cemetrice a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. I belive that seeking help takes courage, and my goal is to create a safe, judgement-free space where you feel heard and supported from the very first visit. I earned my MSN from Northern Kentucky University, and I bring over six years of psychiatric experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings. I currently hold inpatient privileges at three hospitals in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, which keeps me connected to full spectrum of mental health care. I work with patients ages 5 and up treating a range of concerns including anxiety, depression, ADHD, mood disorders, and more. My approach combines careful medication management with genuine listening because you're more than diagnosis.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with a Master of Science in Rehabilitative Counseling from the University of Texas–Pan American. I am also Certified in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (C-DBT) through Evergreen Certifications.
I work with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, low self-esteem, relationship and family concerns, caregiver burnout, life transitions, emotional dysregulation, and difficulties with boundaries and interpersonal relationships. I also support clients who struggle with rumination, feeling overwhelmed, motivation, self-worth, and adjusting to significant changes in their personal or professional lives.
My approach is supportive, collaborative, and practical. I incorporate Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) strategies to help clients strengthen emotion regulation, distress tolerance, mindfulness, and interpersonal effectiveness, while also drawing from other evidence-based approaches based on each client’s individual needs. My goal is to provide a space where clients feel heard and understood while developing practical skills, gaining insight into patterns that may be keeping them stuck, and working toward meaningful, lasting change.
