One of my greatest passions is working with individuals and families to address hurts and impasses: being both witness and participant.
I view each person within the context of their relationships and family-of-origin. Whatever you are currently struggling with did not start with you. I take a very systemic approach and work with you to not only have a better relationship with yourself, but others. For those suffering with trauma, I am trained in EMDR and promise that you can find relief.
I've been told I'm easy to connect with, in particular by folks who haven't found the right fit.
I work with adults experiencing high-functioning anxiety, depression, stress and adjustment to life changes.
I have a BA in Psychology, an MSW in Social Work, and am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker.
I am LGBTQIA+ affirming, an advocate for social justice, and have a lifelong commitment to examining the systems that create and maintain inequity and oppression.
I love being a counselor because it is so rewarding to help people through difficult times, both past and present. Helping people work through issues of sexual abuse, depression, anxiety, forgiveness, relationships, and anger is my passion. I have about 15 years of experience working with adults and couples.
Experienced in providing care, interventions designed to promote mental and physical health. Empathetic, culturally competent and results oriented.
"Many hands make light work." This quote reminds us that the challenges we carry can feel lighter when we do not have to face them alone. I am also inspired by the idea of infinite diversity in infinite combinations: the belief that each person’s unique identity, history, strengths, and experiences deserve to be honored. I began my career in community mental health 23 years ago, working with adults living with severe mental illnesses. Over time, that experience deepened my belief that mental health deserves the same care, attention, and dignity as physical health. This conviction ultimately led me to become a licensed clinical social worker.
If you are an adult navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship concerns, or other major stressors, I want you to know that support is available. My goal is to offer a safe, compassionate, and supportive space where you can feel heard, understood, and empowered as you work through life’s challenges.

If you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected from yourself, therapy can be a space to slow down and begin reconnecting with what matters most. I support adults who are navigating life’s challenges and want to better understand themselves, their emotions, and the patterns shaping their lives.
My role is to be a steady, supportive presence as you explore your inner world and move toward healing and growth. I strive to create a positive, judgment-free space where you feel safe showing up as you are and beginning the healing process at your own pace.
Bienvenidos! Welcome to My Practice
First off, I want to take a moment to thank you for prioritizing yourself today—it’s not always easy!
My name is Daniela, a bilingual (Spanish) clinical social worker. When not working, you’ll find me enjoying quality time with my loved ones, or sneaking the occasional nap.
I firsthand understand how culture shock, trauma, and grief can deeply affect lives. That’s why I dedicated my career to helping others navigate these challenges with support and compassion.
Therapy provides the opportunity for one to become the best version of themselves. I work to help clients understand and identify their own strengths and incorporating coping skills while processing aspects of the past to create an understand to the causes of our behaviors. Helping other work through transitional periods of life such as life transitions, work, relationships, school, etc have also been a part of my clinical skills.
