I am CBT based with Solution Focused and Gestalt main ones I use.
I listen and we learn to judge the behaviors in relation to your goals and ideal self. I approach our initial sessions with structure to allow for clarifying your goals. Once we have a sense of direction, we suspend judgement, and learn to explore your wants, fears, and desires in life. I bring in a calm and humorous approach to allow for different perspectives to emerge with the intent to find out our strengths and deficits to continue learning and discover yourself

I have a depth of experience as a clinical school social worker for over 18 years. Prior to school social work and private practice, I worked in residential treatment, inpatient treatment and juvenile probation. The majority of my 20+ year career has been working with pre-teens, adolescents and their families. I love working with parents as they navigate raising kids!
Most recently, I have been working more with college aged busy moms and professionals. I also love working with high performing athelets.
For the past 16 years I have also supervised Masters level, clinical social work students. I also provide supervision for those working towards their LCSW.
My husband and I are busy raising our three young children. Being a parent is the greatest joy and there is no other role I rather be in.
