Hello, my name is Roger Lee Crowe III, I am a licensed clinical social worker. I Graduated from East Carolina University in 2018 with at Masters in Social Work. Life can be a struggle and feel like one hit after another. This can lead to negative beliefs about yourself and others that keep you from moving toward who you want to be. I want to help you gain new perspectives that allow you to rediscover your authentic self. Growth is facing adversity, learning the lessons, and overcoming it.
I understand the patience that is required when beginning therapy and I look forward to exploring how we can work together to help you achieve your goals. I believe balance is a key to a successful life and I welcome a holistic approach to improve your spiritual, physical and emotional wellbeing.

I specialize in the treatment of adult women who have ADHD.
Women and girls are shamed, gaslit and neglected by many aspects of the medical system. The ability required to recognize and adequately treat ADHD in women requires a specialized knowledge of the disorder, but many healthcare providers are still missing the mark — and the client ends up suffering needlessly.
I am actively working to help women with ADHD learn about, and master, their symptoms using an individualized approach that creates new possibilities for thriving with ADHD, and paves the path toward recovery from the lifetime of shame caused by this misunderstood condition.
I work with people who are female-identifying or nonbinary, ages 18 and up, and I have special interest in Women’s Issues. I am also neurodivergent-affirming, disability-affirming, and proudly Queer-Allied.
ADHD has been, is, and will be present for the lifetime of the person. It does not have a “cure,” but it can effectively be treated. One does not “grow out of it,” despite what you may have been told. One cannot simply ignore it or choose to pretend it’s not real. But we can educate ourselves about it, learn how to work with it and thrive.
Bottom line, ADHD is often a diagnosis that does not get a lot of attention (hah!). People struggle from the anxiety and depression that results from the unmanaged symptoms of ADHD, and that’s what typically brings them to seek out therapy or medication. Therapy aims to alleviate that depression and anxiety with strong research-based methods, but you still have unchecked and unaddressed ADHD. If we don’t examine specifically how your particular version of ADHD shows up, it can end up being overlooked and ignored, but ignoring something doesn’t mean it’s gone.
I'm a dog-obsessor, nerd for flowers, and avid audiobook listener. I've been working in therapeutic settings since 2011. Over the years, I’ve learned a lot about how to help others as they struggle, succeed, and move into becoming the person they’ve always wanted to be. I've learned the power of warmth & empathy... and also how to be straight up when my clients need to hear the truth.
It’s also probably helpful for you to know that I can’t help but drop the “f-bomb” at least once a minute. Oops.
Hi there! I'm happy to welcome you to your therapeutic journey! I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) licensed in both New York and North Carolina. I have experience working with children, adolescents, and adults. My clinical training and experience working on an inpatient psychiatric unit, as well as an outpatient substance abuse clinic, has provided me with the skillset to treat a variety of mental health diagnoses with compassion, support, and empathy.
