I work with children, adolescents, adults, and families. My expertise includes trauma, depression, anxiety, ADHD, behavior management, family conflict, life transitions, and relationship issues through a predominantly Cognitive Behavior Therapy approach. As a queer female, I especially enjoy working with the LGBTQIA+ community.
I specialize in treating trauma, with extensive training in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy to treat youth and Cognitive Processing Therapy for adults. I also have training in and incorporate principles of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
I’m a down-to-earth therapist who believes real healing happens through genuine connection. Therapy doesn’t have to feel stiff, clinical, or intimidating—I show up as a real human, and I invite you to do the same. My style is informal, compassionate, and grounded in respect for your lived experience. We can laugh when it’s helpful, sit quietly when things feel heavy, and talk honestly about what you’re going through without pressure to “stay positive” or have it all figured out.
Originally from Maryland, I moved to North Carolina in 2008 and recently to SC and have built both my professional life and my family roots here. I am the mother of two adult sons and the grandmother of two young girls, roles that deeply inform my compassion, steadiness, and commitment to helping others find their way through difficult seasons.
I earned my graduate degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Gardner‐Webb University in 2018 and began my career as a hospice grief counselor, supporting individuals and families through loss for four years. Since 2021, I have worked in private practice, where I continue to provide trauma‐informed, client‐centered care. In my part‐time work, I am trained in Equilateral EMDR, an experiential modality that incorporates the healing presence of horses into the therapeutic process.
I welcome the opportunity to interact with those who are seeking support as they struggle with various mental health concerns affecting how they live each day. I have been providing this support for 22 years as a licensed provider working with a variety of concerns using an eclectic approach to such concerns as depression, anxiety, serious mental health issues, family concerns and traumas.
If you are here, looking through these many profiles, it’s a lot. You may be searching for support, encouragement, understanding, and finding a way forward. I sincerely hope you find who you need. I offer assistance in North Carolina, Virginia, and Wisconsin. We may be a good fit if you are struggling with anxiety, stress, sleep, grief, losses, trauma, or transitions in your life. I offer clinical assistance with the perspective of lived experience. I understand reaching out can feel very uncomfortable, but I hope you keep reaching out for support.
Sometimes the hardest part of change isn’t what happened. It’s realizing that the role you’ve always known how to fill doesn’t fit quite the same way anymore.
Many of the people I work with are used to being the person others depend on. You may be the parent, spouse, caregiver, problem-solver, or family go-to person. You may genuinely value being there for other people. But something has changed. And now you may be wondering:
“Something changed, and I’m not sure who I am in this season of my life.”
I’m Tiffany Price, MSW, LCSW, a therapist with Resurgence Therapy PLLC. I provide online therapy for adults in North Carolina who are navigating major life transitions, changing family roles, caregiving, grief, chronic stress, anxiety, depression, and the question of what comes next when life no longer looks the way it used to.
I have more than 10 years of professional experience working with adults across a range of mental health and clinical settings. My background includes outpatient mental health, residential substance-use treatment, in-person therapy, and virtual care. I have also taught Master of Social Work students and supervised social work interns.
Working across different settings has reinforced something important for me: There isn’t one type of person who comes to therapy, and there isn’t one way people respond to difficult experiences. People bring histories, strengths, responsibilities, relationships, losses, values, and ways of coping that developed long before they entered a therapy room. I want the work we do together to recognize all of that.

If you want to meet OUTDOORS for therapy, I'm your girl. My favorite therapy sessions are done in nature in the Boone, NC and surrounding areas - we can walk, hike, kayak, or even ski/snowboard during your therapy session! I believe the best therapy happens while moving your body in nature. I specialize in relationships, body-centered therapy, trauma-healing, women's issues, and goal-achievement.
I am a queer, cisgender female in my mid-30s (she/her pronouns.) I am diagnosed with depression, anxiety, substance use disorder, and ADHD. I understand addiction and mental health first-hand. Though I am a therapist, I see us as equals and partners. I have 5 years experience working in Community Mental Health with diagnoses from Depression to Schizophrenia.

We'll get to know one another through a relaxed conversation and see if we will make a good fit together. BCBS coming late Spring of 2022! Cigna, Aetna, Optum coming Dec!
I have spent my career supporting clients through many life challenges and transitions. For the past two decades, I have been privileged to support patients and families on their journeys through chronic illness and end of life decision making. In addition I have helped many clients with depression, anxiety, grief/loss, health concerns, caregiver burden, relationship issues, and communication challenges.
The kink, the late-night rabbit holes, the rogue 2:00 a.m. ADHD thoughts, and the strange, unspoken chapters of your life this is where they finally get to run wild. We aren't here to sand down your edges or fit you into a tidy little box. We are here to make mistakes, play with the pieces, and find strategic ways to tell your story so it feels entirely yours. I specialize in turning the surreal, overwhelming chaos of real life into clear, empowering magic, placing you squarely at the center of the narrative. My practice is built on a down-to-earth, deeply practical foundation that pairs deep trauma healing with real tools.
