I come to you with over 20 years of experience working with populations across the life cycle. I have a deep and empathic understanding of challenges and complexities that impact at all stages of life. I approach each client with an open mind, compassion, and empathy.
People say I'm easy to talk to. Here's a little bit about me. I received my graduate degree from NYU and have completed extensive post-graduate training in the treatment of mental health and addiction disorders. Why work with me? I'm a seasoned clinician who has supervised graduate-level Psychology and Mental Health Counseling students from Universities on Long Island and NYC. I'm passionate about the work we'll do together and am excited to join you on your journey.
I’m a licensed clinical social worker who works with adults around anxiety, mood concerns, relationships, and feeling stuck in patterns that don’t seem to change. I care a lot about creating a real, human connection in therapy—not just giving advice or tools. My style is warm and collaborative, but also honest and thoughtful. I believe therapy works best when support and personal responsibility go hand in hand.
I like to utilize different therapies such as psychodynamic, CBT, ACT, person centered, and mindfulness to help clients achieve their goals. I have experience working with individuals struggling with depression, anxiety and OCD, adjustment disorders, sexual and domestic abuse, anger management and mood disorders, personality disorders, and family/relationship issues. I also consider myself to be a culturally competent therapist, and have experience working with the Hispanic/Latino Community.
Welcome! I have been a Licensed Mental Health Counselor since 2014. I received my Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling in 2011 after completing my undergraduate education in Psychology & English in 2009.
I am particularly passionate about working with college & college-bound students as well as recent college graduates. I am also very passionate about working with women, particularly for mental health related to pregnancy, postpartum health, sexual health & mom life.
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in New York and have been in practice for over 10 years. I became a therapist because I know firsthand how helpful it can be to have a dedicated time and space to focus on our emotional well-being. Talking to an unbiased party can help us feel supported, heard, and see things from a new perspective. Most importantly, therapy offers a space to explore thoughts, feelings and behaviors without judgment.
I recognize how challenging it can be to find the time and energy to start therapy and to sort through profiles to find the right fit. There are many providers, especially in New York, so it can feel a little daunting! What I will say is that no matter your background and no matter your concerns, I will be invested in you and your goals.
Some of my areas of interest include perinatal and postpartum mental health (I am a parent myself!), LGBTQ+ mental health, relationships (romantic or otherwise), transitions including career/school, anxiety, and depression.

Throughout my training and professional practice I have worked with a diverse array of individuals and clinical issues, including severe mental illness, substance abuse, trauma, depression, and anxiety. I currently work primarily with adults experiencing depression, anxiety, relationship problems, and who are in recovery from addiction.
