Dr. Anderson has a BA in Psychology, MA in Community and Agency Counseling, and a PhD in Counseling and Clinical Supervision from Wayne State University, respectively. Dr. Anderson teachs both graduate and undergraduate students. Dr. Anderson is a Licensed Professional Counselor and International Certified Gambling Counselor and a Certified Tech Addiction and Digital Helth Specialist. Dr. Anderson has specialized training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). I am trained to identify and treat Survivors of Human Trafficking.

My background in the Mental Health space goes back to 1991, when I earned a Masters Degree from Boston University's Education Counseling program. I earned a PhD from St Mary's University in San Antonio. I am a licensed LPC in both Michigan and Texas and an LMHC in Florida. In my off time I enjoy golf and attending live music events. I am married and raised three children and have 5 grandchildren.
