I am a Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) with more than 20 years of nursing experience, complemented by specialized education and clinical expertise in psychiatry and psychopharmacology. I am committed to providing compassionate, evidence-based mental health care in a supportive, nonjudgmental environment where every patient is treated with dignity, respect, and empathy.
My approach is collaborative and patient-centered, empowering individuals to actively participate in their mental health journey. I work closely with each patient to develop personalized treatment plans that may include medication management, psychotherapy, lifestyle modifications, and complementary approaches such as nutrition, exercise, and other evidence-based interventions. My goal is to help patients build resilience, improve their overall well-being, and achieve lasting, meaningful improvements in their mental health and quality of life.
As a therapist rooted in Buddhist principles, my approach respects the innate wisdom each individual possesses. I believe clients are their own best experts in healing, and my role is to support them in uncovering their truths and navigating their journeys toward healing and self-discovery.
I hold a Master's in Counseling for Mental Health and Wellness from New York University, which has enriched my understanding and practice of therapeutic techniques. I strive to create a safe, compassionate space where clients can explore their thoughts and feelings without judgment. Within this sanctuary, we work collaboratively to shift perspectives, fostering greater happiness and joy.
Ultimately, my deepest aspiration as a therapist is to facilitate a healing environment where individuals feel seen, heard, and valued.
Therapist With a Sense of Humor ~ Reach Out Anyway!
Workaholic by choice, dog mama by heart. Seven days a week, fueled by hustle, humor, and Pitbull cuddles. Yes, I chose this life. No, I still don’t understand why.
Email me directly and try not to overthink the subject line. (Seriously, “Hello” or “Just testing if this thing works” are entirely acceptable choices).
Every appointment gets a warm, practical “yes” from me first ~ I confirm we’re the right clinical fit, that I’m licensed to practice magic (or therapy, depending on the day) in your state, and that your insurance and I are on wonderfully polite terms. Every new client starts with a full intake session. But booking should only happen once that verification is sorted and your intake paperwork is complete; otherwise, a standard administrative fee applies as outlined here in my bio, covering onboarding overhead and reserved calendar time.
I’m a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker in Massachusetts and New York, 25+ years deep. I work with the complex, high-acuity stuff that takes real depth to hold: mood and psychotic disorders, PTSD and DID, the full neurodivergent spectrum (ADHD, OCD, autism), plus PANDAS, tics, and Tourette syndrome.
I share my world with a blind Pitbull ~ resilience in the flesh, navigating a world he can’t see with more confidence than me even after I have three espressos. He’s the heart behind the hustle.
I accept insurance through Headway, which verifies benefits and processes copays automatically. Private pay and sliding scale also available.
Pro-Tip: Confused by your insurance card? Call the number on the back ~ those lovely humans are literally paid to explain your coverage.
The “No-Fly” Zone: 7:00 AM sessions are off the menu.
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in Massachusetts with dual graduate degrees from the University of Pennsylvania—an M.S.Ed. in Mental Health Services and an M.S.PHL in Professional Counseling. I’m passionate about supporting individuals through challenges related to anxiety, trauma, and relationships. My multicultural background and specialized training in evidence-based practices for emotion regulation and trauma-informed care inform my compassionate and collaborative approach to therapy. I offer evening sessions Mon–Thu for adults after work and after-school sessions for kids/teens, in-person or online.
Whether you’re dealing with a long-standing struggle or a new crisis, finding the right therapist can feel overwhelming. I offer a warm, safe, and nonjudgmental space where you can feel supported from the start. Whatever you’re carrying, we’ll work through it together and find a path forward that helps you feel better.
I am a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner. I earned both my Doctor of Nursing Practice and Master of Science in Nursing degrees from Columbia University. My clinical training includes experience in outpatient community health, school-based mental health, private practice, and child, adolescent, and adult inpatient psychiatry. Prior to becoming a nurse practitioner, I worked as a registered nurse in a detox and rehab facility serving individuals with substance use disorders, including low-income, formerly incarcerated, and unhoused populations.
We all need connection, community, and the ability to be our authentic selves in order to thrive. Many of us are not provided these attachment needs in childhood, and we grow into adulthood burdened by this wounding, unsure of how to relate safely and from a place of wholeness. If you struggle to align your inner and outer worlds, find yourself repeating difficult relational patterns, or feel as if your authentic self must remain hidden, I would love to work with you. I am particularly interested in supporting the health of queer families and cooperatives.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist with over a decade of counseling experience in a variety of environments. I am an LGBTQ* and neurodiverse celebratory therapist! I have always been drawn to hearing people's stories and want to know all about you-what are your passions? What are your stressors? How can we get you where you want to be? I firmly believe that everyone possesses both resiliency and a unique spark that makes them who they are. I love to help people find their strength and spark.
