I provide structured, evidence-based psychiatric care for adolescents and adults with anxiety, mood disorders, ADHD, and complex mental health conditions. I specialize in treating individuals who have had limited response to prior treatment and require a more personalized, clinically guided approach. I also have extensive experience supporting individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) in both community and residential settings.
Hi there! So glad you’re here! I am taking new clients despite the calendar showing no availability. Headway is now charging clinicians to use the online calendar option so please email [email protected] if you would like to get started. I know firsthand what it feels like to have the pressure of life’s expectations on your shoulders as a young professional, spouse, athlete and career driven individual and want to support you through this stage of life. I am an advocate for an active lifestyle having a history in competitive sports and bodybuilding and understanding that finding your identity and power after a shift can be difficult. I hope to offer my clients a place where all parts of us can intersect. While I have a special interest in trauma work, other areas of focus include life transitions, high stress, anxiety, substance abuse, relationship recovery, and mental performance in both career and athletic environments. I primarily offer Telehealth therapy services, but look forward to speaking engagements, and partnerships that elevate mental health and lifestyle, and also enjoy mentoring, writing and speaking.
I often use dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), cognitive behavior therapy (CBT) and strengths-based approaches and am now also able to offer Eye Movement Reprocessing and Desensitization (EMDR) under consultation while becoming fully EMDRIA trained. I am a West Virginia University School of Social Work graduate and also hold Master’s degrees in Law and Legal Studies and Public Administration.
Starting a private practice has been my goal since the day I became a psychiatric provider. I offer both medication management and talk therapy, so you can get the full picture of support you need without juggling multiple clinicians. Board-certified and genuinely curious about what makes each person tick, I bring warmth to every session along with a commitment to meeting you exactly where you are. My practice is built to flex around your life and your schedule, because that kind of care is what makes real, lasting progress possible.
I believe that each person is the expert of their own life. At times, however, navigating challenges, life transitions, relationships, or emotional struggles can feel overwhelming, and having a supportive, objective person to talk to can make a meaningful difference.
My goal is to provide a safe, nonjudgmental space where you feel heard, understood, and supported. Together, I am committed to helping you build insight, resilience, and confidence while working toward your personal goals.
Do you struggle with anxiety, depression, poor self-esteem, negative thoughts, unhealthy relationships or the inability to say NO! Are you tired of feeling like nothing will change or your stuck in life because you don't know what to do to make it better? I focus on adults using CBT, REBT, Person Centered and Motivational interviewing to assist clients in learning more about themselves and their perspective on life. I have experience working with many different mental health disorders including depression, anxiety, stress, marital/relationship issues and career struggles to name a few.
