Life brings seasons of change, and you don't have to navigate them alone. I work with individuals, couples, and families experiencing anxiety, depression, family issues, grief and loss, and relationship challenges, while also supporting concerns such as ADHD, bipolar disorder, panic disorders, stress management, trauma, identity issues, men's issues, and cultural or ethnic concerns. I welcome children, adolescents, adults, and seniors, and I strive to create a space where every person feels heard, respected, and understood. Whether you're facing a difficult transition, navigating conflict in your relationships, or looking for healthier ways to cope, my goal is to help you gain clarity, strengthen your relationships, and move toward lasting emotional well-being.
Hi, I'm Ashley, a Licensed Professional Counselor and Reiki II practitioner. I believe that somewhere underneath the anxiety, the self-doubt, and the patterns that keep repeating, there is a version of you that already knows the way. My job isn't to fix you. It's to create a space steady enough that you can actually hear yourself. Together we get curious about the thoughts that won't quiet down, the emotions that feel bigger than the moment, the behaviors that keep showing up even when you don't want them to, and what all of it is actually trying to tell you. I bring tools into our work that help you understand what's happening in your mind and body when you're overwhelmed, so you can actually do something about it instead of just surviving it. But more than any method or modality, I show up as a real person walking alongside you, trusting that you are the expert on your own life.
I work with individuals, couples, and families facing relationship strain, anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, life transitions, and family conflict. I work with adults who are feeling overwhelmed by work stress, family dynamics, relationship strain, and the pressure of trying to hold everything together. Many of my clients are trying to manage anxiety, set better boundaries, make time for themselves, and figure out how to move through life changes without feeling constantly drained. Some are navigating divorce, complicated parental relationships, family chaos, caregiving stress, or the emotional impact of raising a child with disabilities or health challenges. Others are trying to build confidence in the workplace, navigate tokenism and racial identity in the workplace, and find steadier footing in friendships, relationships, and everyday life.
I help people of all ages- children, teens, and adults - who are survivors of complex trauma and PTSD. I am passionate about empowering survivors to loosen the chains of trauma and move forward. I use EMDR, DBT, CPT and play therapy to help clients to overcome the inner pain of trauma and build a life that is safer and more grounded. I enjoy helping children through the use of Child Centered Play Therapy and Playful EMDR to support children through challenges like self-esteem, bullying and other school- related problems. With 25 years spent as an educator, I have stood in those hallways and know what kids face. Additionally, I enjoy working with parents to navigate the everyday challenges that arise in parenting in this digital age. I enjoy walking with adolescents and teens who struggle just to get up and go to school each day because I remember what that felt like when I was a teenager. I also enjoy walking with students who self -harm, struggle with suicide ideology, bullying, and navigating peer and parental relationships. I consider it an honor to walk along with Trauma Survivors as a certified Traumatologist. I have supported people in healing from sexual assault, traumatic accidents, profound grief, and many other life-altering events. I feel deeply honored to care for firefighters, police officers, and first responders impacted by they have seen on the job.
