I completed my studies at The University of Alabama at Birmingham, earning my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology as well as my Master’s degree in Counseling. My observation for the need of mental health providers within marginalized groups that I belonged to, sparked a passion for wanting to create more inclusive therapeutic spaces for them.
I bring a warm, approachable, and genuinely caring presence to my work in psychiatry. I am goal-oriented and thoughtful in my clinical approach, working collaboratively with patients to help them achieve meaningful and sustainable progress in their mental health.
