Many of my clients are experiencing caregiver strain as they begin caring for elderly parents or spouses, and I provide guidance on a variety of stressors related to caregiving.

I'm Dr. Karunaratne, a bilingual (Spanish) licensed clinical psychologist with over 30 years' experience in providing psychotherapy to adults. I believe in a collaborative approach when working with clients who are seeking evidence-based tools within a framework of support and validation. Evidence shows that a strong connection with a therapist is the single most important agent for change. To that end, my goal is to build strong rapport with clients and provide the opportunity to build coping skills to address issues such as anxiety, depression, and relationship issues. I also enjoy working with clients struggling with attention deficit disorder in helping them to improve organization and time management.

Brian is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor as well as a certified addiction professional. He has provided therapy in a variety of settings from county jails to college campuses. Brian believes adversity is often an opportunity for growth. He has extensive experience working with individuals experiencing substance abuse and their families. He also has significant experience working with young adults, helping them process developmental challenges and family-of-origin concerns.

Hi, I’m Ashlie Larimore, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Florida. I earned my master’s degree in counseling from Troy University and have spent several years working with children, teens, and adults in both outpatient settings and inpatient crisis care.

Because of my background, I’m comfortable supporting people through everything from everyday stress and overwhelm to life’s heavier moments. I especially enjoy working with individuals navigating anxiety, emotional regulation, ADHD concerns, life transitions, grief, and family or relationship challenges.

I believe therapy should feel supportive, safe, and real - not awkward, intimidating, or overly formal. You don’t need to have the “right words” or a clear plan when you start. Showing up is enough.

My interest in counseling grew from my own work recovering from childhood trauma, PTSD, and anxiety. I focus on mindfulness based counseling. Therapy can help you achieve a more fulfilling life and relationships. Therapy is a unique relationship, where you as a client can be completely open and honest. The most important factor in the success of therapy is your connection and relationship with your therapist.

I completed my undergraduate studies at Florida International University. I obtained a master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling at Nova Southeastern University and completed both a master’s and doctorate in Clinical Psychology at Albizu University. I gained predoctoral internship training at University of Central Florida and a postdoctoral fellowship at Jackson Health System in affiliation with the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine.
