You deserve a space where you can say the hard thing out loud and not be judged for it. Whether you're a man who was never taught how to talk about any of this, someone rebuilding after alcohol or substance use, carrying grief you haven't had room to feel, or living with bipolar disorder, depression, anxiety, or stress that never fully switches off, you can bring it here and we'll work with it.
Outside of work I'm watching sports and playing basketball. I also appreciate time at the beach.
As a licensed psychotherapist, I believe that mental health is essential for maintaining happiness, well-being, and a sense of security. While it may seem counterintuitive, seeking help is a courageous act, and showing vulnerability is a true sign of strength, not weakness.
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with a Masters in Mental Health Counseling. I bring several years of experience supporting individuals through a variety of mental health challenges. My background includes working in community mental health agencies, hospitals and most recently, the public school system.
I have a passion for creating a collaborative, supportive environment for personal growth and healing. I believe that seeking therapy is a profound act of self-respect and care, and my goal is to provide a space where you feel truly heard and valued. Together, we can navigate the challenges of life, uncovering clarity and direction in the midst of complexity. My approach is rooted in fostering a comfortable, nonjudgmental atmosphere where your story can unfold, and your goals can take center stage.
I believe that meaningful change happens when people feel heard, understood, and supported. My goal is to provide a warm, collaborative, and nonjudgmental space where we can work together to address life’s challenges, build on your strengths, and help you move toward the life you want to live.
I earned my master’s degree from Columbia University and have completed post-graduate training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), trauma-informed care, and mindfulness-based practices. With more than 20 years of experience, I have worked in inpatient medical and psychiatric hospitals, outpatient community mental health, and telehealth settings, helping adults from their 20s through their 80s navigate depression, anxiety, ADHD, chronic illness, stress management, life transitions, relationship challenges, family stress, and caregiving.
My approach is practical, compassionate, and evidence-based, integrating CBT, mindfulness, positive psychology, and other proven strategies to help clients develop lasting skills for emotional well-being. I view therapy as a partnership and believe that each person is the expert on their own life. Together, we’ll identify meaningful goals, overcome obstacles, and celebrate progress along the way.
For clients who wish to incorporate faith or spirituality into therapy, I welcome those conversations with openness and respect. While my own background is rooted in the Catholic faith, I strive to honor each person’s unique beliefs, values, and life experiences.
When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time with my two boys and our two dogs on Florida’s Gulf Coast. You’ll often find me at the beach, swimming, paddle boarding, or relaxing with a good book. I believe that nurturing the relationships and activities that bring us joy is an important part of living a healthy, balanced life.
Great to meet you!
Taking the first step toward therapy can feel overwhelming, and my goal is to provide a serene, compassionate, and nonjudgmental space where you feel safe being yourself.
I’m Tiffany Ward, LMHC, CBT-C, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Certified Cognitive Behavioral Therapy Clinician. I help clients navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, mood-related concerns, life transitions, stress, relationship challenges, and emotional difficulties.
As a Certified CBT Clinician (CBT-C), I specialize in helping clients identify and challenge unhelpful thought patterns, understand how their thoughts impact their emotions and behaviors, and develop practical skills that support lasting change. My approach is supportive, direct, and empowering, using evidence-based interventions including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to strengthen emotional regulation, coping skills, confidence, and overall well-being.
As a former Division I collegiate athlete, I also understand the unique pressures associated with athletics and performance. I enjoy supporting athletes and high-performing individuals experiencing performance anxiety, confidence concerns, stress, perfectionism, and the pressure to succeed.
For clients who desire it, I offer Christian counseling that integrates faith, biblical principles, and evidence-based therapeutic interventions. Faith integration is always based on each client’s preference and comfort level.
My goal is not simply to help you manage symptoms, but to help you understand the patterns keeping you stuck, develop the tools to move forward, and feel empowered to conquer the mountains in front of you.
