Welcome! I’m Ramon, a Drama Therapist supporting children, adults, and families. I believe creative arts offer a deeper language when words aren’t enough. No artistic skills are needed; we simply use play and metaphor to explore challenges from a comfortable distance. Children process emotions through play, adults bypass the analytical mind for authentic expression, and families discover new ways of connecting. My approach is evidence-based and open-minded, providing a judgment-free space to explore your experiences at your own pace.

¡Bienvenidos!
I am Betty Steer, a dual board-certified Family and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (FNP-BC, PMHNP-BC) and a graduate of the University of Nebraska Medical Center. My goal is to provide you with a safe, emotional space where you will feel comfortable, relaxed and know that you are being heard. I want you to be able to express yourself freely without any fear of judgement. Healing takes place when you are able to be open, honest and vulnerable. Throughout my practice, it has been an honor to help facilitate extraordinary transformation in the lives of my clients. Believe me when I say that, “Anything is possible,” as I have witnessed my clients overcome trauma, grief, depression, anxiety and hardcore drug addiction.
Often, our feelings of shame, hurt and fear rob us of the opportunity to experience true joy and fulfillment in our lives. Do you find yourself running from these feelings or always fighting against them? Instead, I can help you embrace them and work through them. It is through this process of transformation where you learn to find acceptance, meaning
and purpose in your life. This leads to living with self-authenticity, and this is when you experience true joy and fulfillment. I look forward to being your catalyst for change. Together, we will take this journey and progress at your own pace. I encourage you to take the first step and make an appointment. Your life is worth it!
Our practice has experience with families and couples and works with individuals of all ages. We help with communication, conflict resolution, depression, anxiety, marriage, parenting, PTSD, substance use, etc. We do what we do because we love our work with our clients!
I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who works with teenagers and older and I believe that the therapeutic relationship is vital to the success of therapy. I have years of experience working with children, teenagers and young adults, focusing on anxiety, depression, ADHD, and trauma. My approach is to be open-minded, compassionate, supportive and encouraging with an end goal to help you develop the coping skills or address the issue to be able to navigate life to its fullest. My goal is to challenge you while offering a non-judgmental space for you to process feelings and discover your inner self.
I earned my graduate degree in Social Work at the University of South Carolina and my undergraduate at Iowa State University in Child Adult and Family Studies and Psychology. My background includes years in settings working with at-risk youth, school social work and more recently in person at an equine therapy agency working with teenagers and adults. All of these experiences have shaped how I view mental health and how important it is to treat the whole person.
