Although my degree is in Mental Health Counseling, my treatment method is psychoanalysis. This means that each treatment is developed and conducted for the client in question, their specific issues and inquiries they have about their own symptom.
Psychoanalysis emphasizes on guiding individuals in finding their own resources, gaining a knowledge about what is happing to them and the cause of their distress.
My therapeutic approach is open and straightforward. I use only scientifically-based methods, years of experience and customized techniques, to match your specific needs.
My style is direct, encouraging, culturally informed, creative and trauma trained.
My practice specializes in:
- Individuals with family histories of trauma, abuse, addiction, and abandonment
- Couples hoping to improve their relationships
- Parents striving to do their best

My goal is to provide you with a safe, emotional space where you will feel comfortable, relaxed and know that you are being heard. I want you to be able to express yourself freely without any fear of judgement. Healing takes place when you are able to be open, honest and vulnerable. Throughout my practice, it has been an honor to help facilitate extraordinary transformation in the lives of my clients. Believe me when I say that, “Anything is possible,” as I have witnessed my clients overcome trauma, grief, depression, anxiety and hardcore drug addiction.
Often, our feelings of shame, hurt and fear rob us of the opportunity to experience true joy and fulfillment in our lives. Do you find yourself running from these feelings or always fighting against them? Instead, I can help you embrace them and work through them. It is through this process of transformation where you learn to find acceptance, meaning
and purpose in your life. This leads to living with self-authenticity, and this is when you experience true joy and fulfillment. I look forward to being your catalyst for change. Together, we will take this journey and progress at your own pace. I encourage you to take the first step and make an appointment. Your life is worth it!
Growing up neurodivergent, I knew my life purpose was to learn to navigate a world that wasn't meant for me and to help others do the same. As a therapist and former teacher and crisis responder, I understand what it takes to navigate toxic stress in a world that wasn't built for your brain or nervous system. I had a period as a young adult in which I was disabled by depression and had to reshape my entire life trajectory. I had a therapist that truly saw me - it changed my entire life trajectory. Today, that same passion drives my clinical work. You are not broken, and your adaptations make complete sense given what you’ve been through.
I earned a BA in Psychology/Human Services, went on for an MSW and have been a Licensed Clinical Social Worker since 2017. I have extensive experience as a school clinician, respite business owner, and non-profit director. I opened my therapy practice in 2019. My practice focuses on supporting neurodivergent and gifted kids and adults, women, LGBTQ+/ENBY/Trans*, and BIPOC folks facing burnout, trauma, grief and major life pivots. Whether you are processing trauma, navigating divorce, parenting, fscing loss, health changes, or untangling the burnout of masking or people-pleasing, our work centers on helping you drop the mask, establish meaningful boundaries, and step into grounded self-worth. Your future self is waiting! In our sessions, you can expect warm, down-to-earth collaboration rooted in real-world strategies. When you’re ready to prioritize your own healing, I invite you to connect with me. Outside of being a therapist, I am a proud single momma to a neurospicy kiddo and a pittie. I enjoy crafting, travel, making art, yoga, dancing, and the outdoors.
I'm so glad you're ready to take action! Starting therapy is courageous. My goal is to walk alongside you and encourage you further. I consider my role as therapist an immense privilege, and seeing people grow and heal through therapy never gets old!
Like many of my clients, I struggled a lot and felt like life was harder then it should be. Having done the work of therapy myself, I am now a licensed professional counselor. Before entering private practice, I spent thousands of hours in various different practices working with clients that struggled with depression, and anxiety. I enjoy working with men, women, teens and adults (14-45). I've found that undiagnosed neurodiverse clients and folks with traumatic family backgrounds are frequently attracted to me and so I've been putting more emphasis on study and research in these areas.
I’m a psychiatric nurse practitioner who works from the belief that people are not broken—and that many of the struggles we call “mental illness” make sense when we look at trauma, context, and lived experience. I’m especially attuned to the ways mental health systems, stigma, and labels can unintentionally cause harm, and I aim to practice in a way that feels respectful, collaborative, and deeply human.
My approach is unconventional and trauma-informed, influenced by perspectives like those of Gabor Maté, which emphasize compassion, curiosity, and understanding symptoms as meaningful responses rather than defects. I do not believe in rushing to pathologize the human experience. As Joni Mitchell once reflected about depression, sometimes what we’re feeling is not an illness to be fixed, but a signal—an honest response to pain, loss, or a world that has not been kind.
